After reading the reviews for all the other replacement bike tubes and discovering that most included disappointing results, I decided to spend the extra money and buy these because of the overwhelming positive reviews. Because replacing the tubes on a multi-speed bike with disk brakes is no easy task, I wanted long-lasting results. I was amazed at the quality of their metal valves with the threaded retaining rings. I never saw them before! Once the valves are inserted in the holes in the rims and the retaining rings are installed, the valve can't pull out while trying to squeeze the tubes inside the tires. Treat yourself to these replacement tubes and you won't be sorry!

These tubes are great. Compared to the OE CST tubes on my ebike, this is a lot thicker. Will buy another to replace the front, even though it hasn't popped yet.

looks higher quality compared to other brands

I purchase these specifically due to having the threaded, metal valve stem and being from a name brand manufacturer. The price is reasonable for the quality and these are now my standard tubes on a street bike and a mountain bike. One caveat during installation- leave the nut on the valve very loose until AFTER the tube is filled with air and THEN snug down the nut. I installed one tube with the nut snugged down tightly BEFORE adding air and the tube blew-out immediately after inflation and pushing the tire away from the rim. Lesson learned...

Good fit. Valve stem is the right size. Ill update this after I've put 100miles on them. They claim to be built tough.. We'll see.

I bought two of these Continental bike tubes to replace the Schwalbe ones I purchased a couple of years ago. I kept on getting slow leaks around the base where the valve stem meets the rubber with my old tubes. These new ones appear to have an extra layer of rubber around that area which is something none of my older tubes had. I would recommend the Continental bike tubes to anyone looking for a quality product at a great price.

Ho acquistato questa camera d'aria per sostituire quella della ruota posteriore della mia mountain bike. In linea di massima ho deciso di acquistare questo modello per tre motivi: - il prestigio della marca, - il buon prezzo, - il tipo di valvola presente. La vulcanizzazione del caucciù offre una maggiore resistenza e permette di ottenere un tubo più tondo. È concepita senza saldatura e con una valvola sicura. Difatti la valvola presente è del tipo Schrader (detta anche valvola Americana) da 40 mm ed è presente anche una rondella per fissare la valvola al cerchio, molto comoda per evitare gioco durante il gonfiaggio e quindi lo sfregamento col cerchio stesso. Inoltre serve anche ad evitare la torsione nel togliere/mettere l'adattatore della pompa di gonfiaggio che inevitabilmente stressa la valvola nel suo punto più delicato; la rondella inoltre può essere utile in fase di montaggio per mantenere la valvola perpendicolare al cerchio. Questo tipo di valvole Schrader, secondo me, sono le migliori, perché essendo molto diffuse (ormai standard) è più facile trovare punti dove gonfiare la ruota quando si è fuori in escursione (distributore di benzina o gommista), ma principalmente perché hanno il valvolino smontabile, il corpo valvola più robusto e tengono meglio la pressione rispetto alle Presta (detta anche valvole francesi) che sono delicatissime ed appena si storce un po' il pirulino non tengono più bene e poi sono meno facili da gonfiare. Non ho riscontrato nessun problema nell'installazione! Riguardo alla scelta invece, dovete tenere conto di tre parametri: 1) Diametro del cerchio: 26 2) Larghezza dello pneumatico: 26x1,75/2,5 (questo parametro ha meno valenza perchè rientra in tutte le taglie) 3) Larghezza del foro dove alloggia la valvola presente sul vostro cerchione, in quanto le Schrader ha un diametro maggiore della Presta. Schrader: 8mm, Presta: 6mm. Anche se in questo caso si può rimediare allargando di un pò il buco con un trapano. Finora, dopo aver percorso circa 1000 km in strade miste, tra cui anche sterrato non ho riscontrato nessun problema, ottimo mantenimento della pressione. La consiglio vivamente.
