A very good and affordable alternative to the more expensive cases available
The media could not be loaded. I've been considering a keyboard case for my iPad Pro 12.9 inch 5th gen for a while now to help with my studies at uni. I saw this case on tiktok, and ended up buying it after weighing up my options between buying this case, the Logitech and ESR keyboard cases. The keyboard has very good connectivity to my iPad, and does not drain its battery or overheat it, which I really like as I found that this was the case whenever I used my Apple Pencil to do my notes. The battery life of the keyboard seems long as well. The case is very sturdy, but I don't think I will be able to use it on my lap as it is quite big, but if you have a smaller iPad you might be able to do so. The keyboard keys and trackpad are nice as well, however I do find it difficult some times navigating with the trackpad, but this can easily be resolved by using the touchscreen of the iPad.I was a bit skeptical about the weight of the case due to previous reviews, but I see no difference compared to my previous case, which was the Smart Folio case from Apple. I think if you are going to buy a keyboard case, you would expect it to be heavier anyways.Overall, a very good case for an affordable price.

Brilliant product, tough, smart s d versatile
Love it, really sturdy and great quality key board and case. The light up feature on the keyboard adds a bit of class to it and the way that you can stand the iPad up or even detach it from the keyboard makes it handy in all scenarios. On the other hand, the fact that it detaches can be a pain and you need to remember you can’t just pick all up in one lump if it’s opened up as the magnet is not that strong . But for me it’s been brilliant and so happy I went for this after so much deliberation and review reading

Doesnt fit perfectly
Doesn’t fit completely with iPad Pro 2018, still works great and protects the iPad, only a little bit of play but get used to it

Best keyboard I’ve had for my iPad
I had a Magic Keyboard. I sold that as I never liked how it didn’t protect the iPad, that was very heavy and it didn’t have function buttons. This keyboard has function buttons. Is detatcable when you don’t need it and just want to watch some videos or sketch, the keys are fine not too close together. I’m used to a mx master and it’s fine going between the two. It looks the part too, wouldn’t be crazy about the blue lights but it’s fine. The only thing is the case itself is an almost rough texture. Great for grip yes but it can pick up grime. So you’ll have to give it a good wipe now and then. I’ve only had to charge it once in a couple months now so battery is pretty decent for its size. Very easy to connect. Just the once you pair it then turn it on or off. It also shuts off when you close the iPad. Pencil fits snugly still too. I have it on the 2020 air. It also has a little camera protector for the newer or older model which is a nice touch

Great product, but some definite caveats...
In theory, this is an excellent product. It's sturdy, and adaptable. I don't love not having a cover on the screen if I choose not to carry the keyboard, but the case overall is very sturdy and I feel like it protects the iPad for the most part. It is a little bit deep so the iPad moves around a little bit (yes, I have the right model), so not completely perfect. The keyboard is lovely to type on, and it's so convenient to be able to detach it and use the ipad portrait for google docs and the like.However...the material that the keyboard and back of the case is made of attracts every smudge and mark and fingerprint it can find. It's never looked neat or new since I bought it, and I'm a bit of a clean-freak, and I'm careful about where I put it. The slightest nudge leaves a dent. While I know this doesn't affect the use of the case in the long run, I know it will be frustrating to look at before long. I'd say you get what you pay for, as this is so much cheaper than its competitors, but I feel like a change of material would make this the perfect case.I don't regret buying it, but if the above would bother you I think I'd choose something else.

Caps Lock Key
I am not sure how these things passes quality control. At first, I though the “tab” key— but it was the caps lock, was missing. Then I did found it in the box, separate from keyboard.Anyway, I put it back and no matter how much I try, it doesn’t fit well still. These things shouldn’t happen in the first place— but I hate giving bad reviews…
