I have the version with deer scene on front and it has a smooth back

This reindeer quartz pocket watch is just FOR DAILY water resistant: 98 FT waterproof (30 M) - 3ATM, Not suitable for swimming and shower. NOTE: Please DO NOT pull out the button under the water. Too much water contact or usage in extrem Hot or Cold temperature will damage and shorter watch life.

Q: How water resistant is the watch?

it is for Daily Water Resistance (Will resist moisture from accidental splashing, rain, sweat, etc., not suitable for showering and swimming).

Q: How big across is the watch face, need it big enough for my elderly father to read?

The face (white area) is approximately 1.5 in. (just under 4 cm) in diameter. The numbers are a nice size, in my opinion. Each is about 3/16 in. (5 mm) tall.

Awesome!!
