QUNXING 1/18 Scale Lamborghini URUS RC Radio Remote Control Car(White)

*** NOTE: I received this product for free or at a drastically reduced rate in exchange for an honest review. ***The Qunxing 1/18 Scale Lamborghini RC Radio Control Car is a very nice faithful rendition of the actual Lamborghini URUS car and this model will probably be as close as any of us will ever get to this super-expensive car.The car's construction is almost entirely of plastic save for the rubber on the tires. This does not bother me as you want a very light model to be able to drive fast. The hand remote is also plastic. That being said, I thought the car was very attractive and the plastic body certainly isn't flimsy as I drove it into a wall several times on accident and broke nothing.Controls are very basic as you have a finger trigger for forward and reverse and rubberized "steering wheel" to drive the car. In practice, the remote controls work pretty good, but finger trigger takes a little getting used to as just a slight pull makes the car go racing off. When you are going forward, the headlights of the car illuminate. When you are in reverse, the reverse lights come on.The big problem with this product and why I only give it two stars is that the range on the remote is TERRIBLE. I mean it isn't 15 feet terrible which I could probably live with - it's FIVE FEET terrible. Since I'm 6' 6" tall, this essentially means I have to almost be on top of the car in order for it to respond to the controls. All too frequently, I'd get the car going in one direction, the car would lose signal, and then the headlights would shut off and the car would coast to a stop. Once you re-enter the transmission range of the remote, it takes a couple seconds for it to reconnect to the car which means you are constantly stopping and starting while playing with the car. Either that or constantly running after it. This is not an enjoyable process. When I contacted the vendor about the remote range issue, they had no explanation (and really no comment except an apology) so my guess is that this is a somewhat common quality control issue.Overall, I really liked the look and design of the Qunxing 1/18 Scale Lamborghini RC Radio Control Car and the $23.99 purchase price is definitely very reasonable. However, the remote range is so terrible I would have returned this product in a heartbeat.

I got this RC car for my Grandson for his birthday. He loves it. It is his second RC car and he plays with it all the time. I couldn't ask for a better toy for a little boy.Disclaimer: I received this product at a reduced price for an honest review.
