Great shoes, difficult sizing
I purchased a pair of these for my 14-y.o. daughter. She wears a 7.5 in street shoes, which I also wear. I took a lot of time deciding which size to buy.We measured her foot, but it seemed small. So I went with the guideline of 1 size larger than street shoes. Her 8.5 fits snug, especially on her big toe, which is her longest toe. I tried it on with the same result. The rest of the shoe fit well without any tightness at all. We decided that we would give it a chance to let the shoe stretch a bit and form to her foot better as she wears it. If I were in the store, I would’ve had her try a 9 as well. But I can’t say how that would’ve gone. The quality of the shoe is excellent, both materials and stitching. I’m confident we won’t have any issues there.Good luck finding the right fit!

Fit like a glove and very comfortable
My shoes arrived today and they fit like a glove! I just wanted to update y'all because reading through the reviews on Amazon was giving me a headache. Between people saying they were a perfect fit and that they run up to two sizes too small. My takeaway from sifting through the reviews and product information was that you should buy the size you usually wear, unless perhaps your big toe is longer than your second toe, in which case, order a half size bigger. They will start tight and stretch with wear.I ordered in my usual size and I'm happy with the length. They look tiny when you take them out of the box, but they are stretchy. My toes are a little snug in the front, but going by what other people (and the company) say, they do stretch more with time. My big toe is a little shorter than my second toe and I can see why it might be a problem if it weren't because the top of the shoe is quite round. I'm really glad I ordered the wide (for my wide feet), because they are pretty tight across the instep. So, anyway. These are so comfortable, and light, and give a nice balance between security/grip and slipperiness for spins. Looking forward to trying them out next week!I will update this review if they wind up not living up to my expectations on the stage floor.

Our go to jazz shoe
My daughter has been dancing for about 5 years now, and this is the only jazz shoe we use. They fit snugly on her foot, which is good because she has skinny feet. The only thing I don't care for is that the sizing is way off from normal shoes. My daughter wears a 3.5 or 4 in regular shoes, but a 5.5 in her jazz shoes. Capezio tap shoes fit closer to her normal shoe size, these definitely do not.

Very very small
I bought a size 5.5 womens and they are not even close to being a standard size 5.5

Great shoes, if you get the right size
I am a woman's size 8, and based on other reviews, I ordered a 9 1/2. They turned out to be a perfect fit! They seem well made. I am an older ballet teacher with plantar fasciitis, so I am hoping these will give my feet a break from ballet shoes for awhile. They make my arches look good!

It’s ok
This dance shoe is ok, not comfortable. I had to size a couple sizes up because my true size was really tight.

Excellent fit for wide feet, but makes noise on vinyl floor
I have flat feet and wear 7.5 wide ballroom dance shoes or 8.5 Brooks running shoes. Size 8.5 jazz shoe is roomy for me, but I'll wear them with socks to practice rumba. I like them to fit lit ballet slippers. Tight.Since I need to maintain contact with the floor in rumba, the sound of the shoes sliding on the rubber floor is noticeable. I don't like that and may cover the ball of the shoe with leather or duct tape to lessen the noise. The shoes do allow good foot flex though and are attractive.

Comfortable.
Nice and snugg fitting. Love the way they look. Not good for walking on wet grass because it'll go right through the center area, but otherwise my current favorite pair of shoes for when I'm not working. I would avoid them if you have wider feet, but in my case they are great. The soles are a bit hard and will slip on smooth, hard surfaces like kitchen floors, but that's the case with a lot of shoes like this.Keep in mind, I've only had them for a short time, but I can be quite hard on my shoes, and they are holding up perfectly so far.

Uncomfortable fit, run small
The fit was very tight across the width of my foot, and the quality seemed a bit cheap. I had intended to exchange for another size, but I ended up going with another product. I do not recommend processing an exchange, as there is a price difference between the sizes, and you may not receive the full total of your original purchase without contacting customer service multiple times.
