Just what every home needs
What a great find!! We all need a smoke detector and what could be better than one that you never have to change the battery!! 10 years of never hearing the dreaded beep of a dead battery also not having to buy a 2 pack of 9v when all you need is one. Luckily I have never had it go off, but I do test it to make sure it's working and with the quality and design I feel like if I ever needed it I could count on it.

Seems like a quality unit
The product was easy to mount as it replaced the last unit I had just fine. And pressing the test button I found out that it's plenty loud enough if it should ever go off. I think I would rather have had a unit where I change the batteries yearly that way I know everything's fresh. I just don't know if a 10 year battery is something I can put my faith in but I did it anyway. Happy with my purchase.
