My baby is 6 weeks old and a very very fussy sleeper. We were swaddling with baby blankets, but he would kick out them/was not happy. I ordered these the day before yesterday at 4am because I was desperate to be able to just put my baby down. When the box arrived, I literally tore open the package and put my little man in this swaddle (yes, without washing it first because...sleep).LIFE CHANGING!He went for his first two hour nap without being held! 👏 We thought it was a fluke but it’s still working two days later.I’m one happy mom!!!!!!

In my opinion, purpose of swaddle is to make baby feel covered the way it used to feel inside mother’s body. Before birth, baby still had plenty of room of moving hands and legs and still felt protected.This swaddle is too stiff for the very purpose of swaddling. My baby never liked it except when he is sound asleep after getting warm bath. I would suggest getting Muslin cloth swaddles. They’re soft enough to allow baby’s body movements and strong enough to make them feel safe.Plus, your baby will outgrow this swaddle very fast. It is not the case with muslin cloth swaddles.

There are an amazing value for the price. I love how the lower arm of the swaddle actually anchors to the velcro pad at the baby's belly. I have used a Halo sleep sack swaddle before and it's hard to keep that first arm tight while wrapping over the top piece of fabric, but this one is great at anchoring the arm down. They also don't stretch out as much as the cotton jersey Halo swaddles. They are very lightweight, so don't count on it adding an extra layer of warmth for baby.Cons: My baby is long, so his little hands stick out. Also there is no way to change baby's diaper without unswaddling which is annoying in the middle of the night.

Very strong velcros, which make these swaddles great. But as other reviews state, ensure the sticky part of the velcros are covered when put them in wash, or they will stick to other clothes. I didn't bother reading the washing instruction, but I machine wash and machine dry these to save time and energy, and they don't seem to have shrunk. They continue to work well. Some babies will be able to get their hands out. But I've used 3 different types/brands of swaddles, and I haven't come across one that can completely prevent this from happening. It is expected as the baby grows and becomes stronger... unless the baby is put to sleep on his/her tummy.

Our 3 week old loves these swaddles. The material is pretty soft and they’re very easy to use. They keep his hands nice and snug and away from his face so he doesn’t scratch himself and walk himself up. My only complaint is that his hands sometimes pop out of the bottom, I wish there was a bit more material on the left side of the swaddle so that it can be tucked in better. Overall great value for the money though, at 10$ a swaddle compared to 30 or even 40$ for other ones, I can’t complain
