Yosoo ZVS Driver Module 5V-12V Induction Heating Board Kit with Heating Coil, Red

Mounted on my new flow hood, hooked up to a 12v source and foot pedal. Its great.

This product was well constructed and operated as expected. However, unless you have read the other comments on this product, you would not know how to connect the induction coil or the proper way to turn it on. There should be instructions, specifications, and a way to contact the manufacturer if there are any questions on proper operation.

Needed an update after I tested the product. I first tried the product on a battery and got very little results the led on the board barely lit up. I switched to my variable power supply and set it to 12 volts and it immediately switch to current controlled with 2 volts. I turned the current all the way up to 5 amps and was greeted with the smell of burning components and cut the power. (the description says the max wattage is 120, so 10 amps at 12 volts)I’m not sure if there was a faulty transistor or a bad connection, but this product was defective somehow.

It is important to use iron or a metal reacts with the magnetic field produced, I tried stainless steel and the transistors started to overheat. I monitored the temp of the transistors by touching them. It worked great, thanks.

The product I received was defective and started smoking. When I powered it up it immediately current limited my power supply. They took it right back and we’re willing to send a replacement or refund.

Heated a 1mm steel rod with this for 30 seconds or so and it worked great. Problem is that it never worked again because it was shorted.

Could buy the same one on eBay for less. Still a good price overall
