First, I want to discuss the size because that was the first thing I looked up when researching the comments. I am 5'3, 220 pounds, kinda-apple shaped body, full robust backside, and thick thighs. I have the typical mom post-c-section pouch. I usually wear size large in most VS undies and wear size 16 pants. I purchased the 2XL based on reading comments, the size chart, and a hail-Mary guess. The 2XL fits me PERFECTLY. The thigh holes were adequate for my size. These are NOT hot sexy mama undies. These are full, protective, non-hot sexy mama undies. Do NOT get these to impress anyone but yourself!I did not experience the alleged "swish" sound of the material, and I wonder if it is because I am wearing a size that hugs me fully, fits completely, and there are no gaps. There IS a "swish" material inside but I only heard it when I took it out of the package and only because I expected it. I am a high school teacher and TRUST me, if there was a sound, my kids would let me know! No swishing for me when walking.I use a menstrual cup and bought these as a back-up because I am trying new brands of cups and am anticipating leaks. I wore them this past week in anticipation of an unexpected rosy start. I was napping on my couch, crumpled over in crampy pain, no cup, and my rosy nemesis decided to visit during this vulnerable moment. I woke up to THAT FEELING (you know THAT feeling) of "so it has begun". I walked slow and miserably to the bathroom to investigate the damage and WOW, it contained everything and then some! And it was not recent, apparently my rosy nemesis had been busy during my nap. I am impressed at how well these stood up despite being advertised as a back-up. I wash them separately with my reusable pads, cold water, and hang dry.Overall I am happy with the purchase. I bought the dark colors because I prefer dark during this time of unhappiness. My only wish is that they were a 5-pack. I look forward to purchasing another pack in the future.

Ok so I want to say this is my 3rd time ordering from this company, I have to warn you guys if your in love with what comes in the 3 pack DO NOT buy the 5 pack as it brings different underwear that runs smaller and has smaller lining. That being said the underwear that comes in the 3 pack is absolutely amazing, I wore them post-partum and they gave me just the hug I needed and after I was done wearing pads I still wore them because they kept that extra muffin top from really being visible in my dress’s I had to wear because I couldn’t wear jeans. Fast forward a few months. I am on my period and I accidentally bought winged pads so I fold the wings under the pad instead of around the underwear causing the pad to become smaller, well when I went to the bathroom their was blood on the pad and on my underwear and I was so surprised it actually stopped the blood from reaching my pants , when I got home I threw them in the washer and you can’t even tell their was ever a mishap in them. I love the ones that come in the 3 pack just not the 5 pack.

It’s been stated that these run small so I sized up which was about right. I’m a bit of a chubby bunny and a front bleeder so I got the high waisted in a XXXL they’re slightly big but not too bad. I wore a pair last night because I was supposed to have already started my cycle. I woke up this morning and I felt dry so I figured I didn’t start but when I used the restroom to my surprise they were full of blood which shocked me because I felt absolutely no moisture. I have a rather heavy flow for the first three days of my cycle so for these to not only keep me feeling dry when they’re full of blood but to also not even leak through onto my clothes or my bedding well they get a full five stars from me. There was no gross smell from blood just sitting in them. Since I was asleep I have absolutely no clue when my cycle started so I can’t gage how long the blood was sitting in them but like I said there was no gross blood smell. I’m so impressed I will be buying more for myself and for friends and family. The price is amazing for how well these work and how many pairs you get compared to other brands of period underwear. If you are reading my review and you’re on the fence about buying these I say just order them since they’re inexpensive.

I just have to say that I love this underwear! I'm not skinny at all and I honestly feel like these "comfort" my mom bod. They are so comfortable to me and give me the protection I need. I'm so tired of doubling panty liners in my normal underwear every day. I had urethra surgery when I was 18 or 19 and ever since... as soon as I feel I have to pee... I better find a bathroom quick. Can't blame it on my son who was 11 pounds he came out c-section. Also I don't regularly have periods so I like that extra protection for if that might randomly show up. I just used them for the first time for a period and I didn't use anything else with them. No leaks, no feeling wet or gross. I hate tampons, hated the cup, don't like super bulky pads that don't work well anyway (like when you lye down and blood goes up your buttcrack and is all over your sheets in the morning) It was an awesome period. It's funny to feel comforted by underwear... But they truly make me feel good. One less thing I have to stress about. Not sure how much they can hold but they fulfill my need and I'm so happy to have them. Highly highly recommend them!

I shouldn't have gotten these as period underwear because the grey will immediately stain.. bad idea. They are very absorbant too.. almost too much though and then they stay wet. It's uncomfortable
