Good quality paper
I bought this paper in the 6"X6" size to try out. It worked well for water and paint control, and the colors were beautiful. The only thing it lacks is that you can't scrub it much before it starts to pill. I'm a hobbyist watercolorist, so I might be too rough or expecting too much. Overall, for the price, it's a good paper.

Gummy Binding
Be prepared with this specific size I love the size 6 x 6 perfect however after finishing a project I went to remove the page and the glue they use is terrible! I used a knife to cut through and it tore! Apparently the gummy glue was softer than I thought. I enjoyed the paper but not the binding!

Paper tears easily with lifting or masking
I bought several of these for travel kits and other things, but did not use until recently. I have tried there 140 and 300 lb cotton and cellulose blocks and all have the same problem. Does not hold up to masking fluid or erasure. Use kneaded eraser carefully. The paper even tore when I took it from the block and taped it to a board. The paper is also difficult to remove from the block as the tape is very thick. It held the paint fine and produced a nice image, but would not stand up to heavy lifting techiques. I won't purchase again

Very Good Paper
Very good paper, and 100% cotton!Note that block is glued on two sides only so easier to remove sheet but it is "open" on two sides.

I was not familiar with this paper but....
It is reasonably priced, cotton fiber, and it seems to be a good alternative to Arches. I also like Fabriano. This small pad is the one I am currently carrying with me. Will update as I use it, but for quick studies, i like it. The Art supply store in town recommended it but did not have the small pad. It is definately worth a try.
