The past few weeks have been a great cable cutting and re-routing of outlets
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Worked better than I had hoped. Just connect it to your USB-C port and after a few seconds of self-configuration, it's ready to go!! SO nice being able to connect more than just 2 USB devices. Now I can connect my external drive, flash drive, phone, and earbuds to charge all at once. The Good:Good price for such a dock. Two USB-C ports allow for passive charging.Triple monitor display at 4k right out of the boxMultiple peripherals! (HDMI, DP, VGA, Ethernet port, 3 USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0, Type-C for the host, Type-C for data and power, Headphone jack, Mic jack, MicroSD, and regular SD readers. The Bad:None reallyOverall:While many other manufacturers are selling similar docking stations and hubs that are upwards of $200+, it's easy to determine whether the dock is worth it or not. While I haven't had a whole lot of time with it, the past few weeks have been a great cable cutting and re-routing of outlets, ports, and cables for myself. I really like the ability to hide this dock underneath my desk and have a clean and open desk, while still maintaining a powerhouse of a computer. I can't think of any other ports you might need. I would highly recommend this product for basically everything I noted in the aforementioned.I write reviews as a hobby and try to provide the best assessment I can of any item I buy from Amazon. If you like my review, found it helpful, or just want to offer some encouragement feel free to like my write-up and follow my profile. Thank you. Be well.

Great extension
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The VAVA USB-C hub Model VA-UC020 has a sleek, slim form and works as advertised. My favorite functionalities are the ability to charge my laptop while providing an HDMI output to allow for two external displays (one plugged into the laptop and the other to this hub). I really like how the cable crisply clicks snugly into the USB-C port with a nice snap, better than most other USB-C cables I've used. With regards to using this hub to charge a laptop, the instructions recommend a 100W USB-C PD (Power Delivery) charger for the PD IN port, which most people do not have and will need to be purchased separately. The instructions also state "Charging is not available if the computer's Type-C port does not support PD Protocol." My Dell Precision workstation laptop has a Thunderbolt 3 Type C port, and Thunderbolt 3 is PD enabled. When I use this hub with a 100W PD charger, it functions nicely as a small portable home alternative connected to a Dell docking station that I have in my office at work. When I plug in a USB C 5V/3A charger into the PD IN port, the Dell laptop does not charge.A note in the TIPS FOR USE of the instructions states "When connected to a power adapter less than 100W, the hub and the peripheral devices will use about 20W of power, thus the final charge supplied may not be enough for charging the laptop." When I plug in my 5V/3A USB-C charger into the hub's PD IN port, there indeed is not enough power to charge my Dell Precision laptop. The hub also has a 3.5 mm AUX port that supports stereo output and mic input. I tested out my Apple earpods and they worked seamlessly for the stereo output and mic functionality. The two additional USB 3.0 ports are very nice - I tested and confirmed that they both work. I also successfully tested the SD card reader. Overall, this is a nice compact hub that can effectively function as a docking station for my Dell Precision workstation laptop.

Great and minimal for work and traveling usage
After using it for a couple of weeks now:Pros: • It's a great type-c hub • Has 1xHDMI, 2xUSB 3.0 Ports, 1x 3.5 headset jack, 1x Type-C, 1x Type-C PD (laptop charging charger), 1x MicroSD and 1x SD card slots. • Simple and productive. It does what it is supposed to. • I have tried to game using this hub HDMI but it does not give as much as frame rate compared to normal HDMI output from the computer.Cons: • When the hub switches from PD to the laptop power source; the restart time is approximately 10 seconds, not 5 sec. Which is not a deal-breaker for me. • Sometimes after switching power from PD to computer (which happens when you unplug the PD) after restarting I get "Audio driver error" where I have to troubleshoot it. But this issue is not so often therefore, I don't mind it. • The hub does warm up when all the ports are being used. which is also normal for USB hubs • The charging is slow (which is expected when charging through a hub instead of the dock). For your reference, my laptop needs 65W and my charger is 95W. • No ethernet port (which is not a must at this age and time)Overall, it is a great hub for daily work or travel use. I would not recommend it for gaming. This is a great fit/add for daily Work-from-home situations or even work-based usage. The Thin and minimal design is very great for traveling as well.

Slim, portable fast usb-c hub
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This USB-C hub is slim and very portable. I use it on my iPad Pro and laptop. The connection is solid and no drivers are needed for installation. It only has 2 USB 3.0 ports but has other ports that extend my peripheral capabilities. For my iPad, this hub enables me to connect my flash drive and play movies without any latency or lag. I like they there is also a media port for a wired headphones. The casing is metal and feels solid.
