First, you need to know that I actually purchased this product on Amazon, but through another Amazon listing which has since gone "unavailable". (Here:  Godefroy Instant Eyebrow Tint DARK BROWN Botanicals 3 )Up until I used this product, I had gone to a salon to have my eyebrows tinted. Due to wanting to trim down my budget, I stopped doing that, figuring it was an unnecessary luxury. That is, until my eyebrows grew out and I saw how many white hairs there were. Then vanity kicked in. ;-)Here's what you need to know - if you follow this, you will be all set and be able to do both brows in under 10 minutes!With this kit you get 3 each of the coloring cream, the activator gel, little cardboard palettes, and applicator sticks.You are going to want to immediately throw the applicator sticks away and replace them with Q-Tips - ideally the 'Precision Tip" Q-Tips, which you can find here:  Q-tips Cotton Swabs, Precision Tips You also want to have a magnifying mirror, and I highly recommend that you get one of those magnifying mirrors that you can stick to your *regular* bathroom mirror with suction cups, because it allows you to quickly move between a magnified view and the regular view, which you will want to do. I have this mirror, and I love it:  Frcolor 10X Magnifying Mirror with 3 Suction Cups Finally, *do this at your bathroom sink*! This is very important because you need access to both the mirror *and* quick access to water!Ok, ready?Assemble the following (which is everything you need) so you have them right at hand:Precision tip Q-TipsRegular Q-TipsA box of tissuesA timer, or your smartphone in timer modeFollow the directions that come with the eyebrow tint *except* don't even bother with those applicator sticks. They will only frustrate you! Use the precision point Q-Tips instead. The regular Q-Tips are for you to wipe away any tint that gets onto your skin around your eyebrows.Once your eyebrows are all done and beautiful with that tinty goodness, you may see that your skin has soaked up some color too. At least in my case, it was easily scrubbed away with a regular Q-Tip that had soap and water on it - I did this immediately, so if you wait your mileage may vary.The picture is from my very first time *ever* tinting my eyebrows myself - see how easy it is? :-)

Really impressed, I applied by myself 5 days ago, I could draw a few hair strokes with this product, now looks like I have microblading. Looks very natural. I'm not a professional or make up blogger I'm just a regular person.

I wish that I could describe the amount of anxiety I feel when I have to rush out of the house or answer the door without applying my brows. I’m sure most people looking at this product can empathize with that. I’m only one day into using it but I felt so much more confident even just getting out of the shower today fresh-faced and saying good morning to my boyfriend.My advice - I only used the wooden applicator that comes with the product to apply the tint and it’s a tad bit splotchy in some parts. It could also be a botched job on outlining my brows with Vaseline (I used a regular q tip for this). I blame this on user error, not on the product itself. Next time I’m going to trying the advice left by another reviewer and use a precision q tip.Update:I changed my review to 4 stars after trying their other formula that comes in capsules. You get more uses for a similar dollar amount and it comes with a better applicator.The splotches continued to be an issue for me even after trying multiple different applicators and techniques. After I would exfoliate, I’d have chunks of dark brown skin under my brows which are relatively fine so it looked pretty rough and I ended up applying makeup everyday to even it out (negating the whole purpose in buying this stuff). I found that the capsule formula tinted my skin only slightly making it appear more natural and easier to manage long term.

Simply put, if you have lighter hair and are considering making it darker, this is your product. If your hair is already dark and you are looking for an eyebrow tint to make the shape of your brows look sharper, longer, or more filled in, then this is not your product.

I absolutely recommend this for anyone who doesn't have the time to do their brows in the morning. I got the shade dark brown and it was perfect. I will say dont bother with the applicator stick. I used my brown brush because its what im used to and rinsed it right after. I did it with the applicator the first time and wasn't impressed but once i used my always loyal brow brush it was a complete difference and now this is all i will use!

Wow! This worked better than expected. It’s super easy to use and not messy. Way cheaper than visiting the salon. I think next time I will try applying with one of those disposable mascara wands for more precision. Color is a tiny bit dark, but after a day or two I’m sure it’ll be perfect!

I have no eyebrows. Well, I have a few measly hairs left.Since I am a brown skinned black girl I wasn't certain if the color (dark brown) would contrast so we'll with my skin tone so I was really happy that it did. I wasn't looking for my eyebrows to be super dark looking either, just natural looking. The application is super easy and uncomplicated. I did not need to use Vaseline ether even though it is recommended. I used a good eyeshadow brush instead of the included applicator. Sooo I love it so far! I am very happy with this first application. I LOVE that the package gives you 3 separate applications. Will update again in coming days to show how long this first application has lasted. I will also be swimming so we'll see how it holds up in chlorine as well.

I have used simple eyebrow dyes before but this one seriously stained my skin. I just wanted a little color in places where i had less hair. I looked like groucho marx for the firs 24 hours and then scrubbed my skin to death with chemicals i don't even want to share and here i m 5 days later with stained skinabsolutely can not recommend this product

I followed the instructions to the letter. Did one eyebrow at a time and they turned out great. A little dark but that's ok. I think they will look fine once I put makeup on. I used an eyebrow template (got at Walmart ELF brand) and put vaseline under and above the brows. I didn't dye my skin at all. This photo was taken about a minute after I did it. They do look a little scary while in the process of dying aka Groucho Marx but turned out fine.

I love this product and have been ordering it for several years now. It only takes about a half a capsule to do your eyebrows. I had my eyebrows micro-bladed a couple years ago. Unfortunately that did not solve my European white blond body hair! Which makes the microblading look very grey when my eyebrow hair grows on top. This picture was taken without me touching my eyebrows with pencil, only dying the hair with the dark brown Godfroy kit. It lasts for about 3weeks -month. I use my own brushes and thin paint brushes and use baby wipes to wipe it off if I screw up the shape. As it does darken quite quickly. But, if your part of the #noeyebrowclub you will love this product!

Great product. I found it easy to use and I loved the result. I notice in the reviews people say it turned out too dark or like Groucho Marx. I think that's because the applicator provided is not great. I highly suggest using an eyebrow brush or clean mascara wand for the application. Carefully and slowly apply a thin layer and there should be no issues. You can always do it a second time if you want it to be darker.

The media could not be loaded.  It really did darken my eyebrows. I was pleasantly surprised.A few things to bear in mind in additon to my video review.If you usually shape your eyebrows, make sure to shape them at least a week before doing the tint. Alternatively, do the tint however bushy your eyebrows, then get them shaped after the tint. Either way, give your eyebrows area at a few days to a week to settle down before working on them again.I will definitely be buying this product again.Remember to wash the eyebrow area with soap and warm water afterwards. Pat dry. I recommend you apply some type of cream, gel or moisturiser after you wash the area to calm the brow area down. Avoid over exfoliating the brow area immediately after the application as it was irritate the skin and possibly undo the work you have just done.It's definitely hard to say how long it really does last for as I had just completed the application before writing this review.

The media could not be loaded.  This is amazing! I can’t believe I don’t have to do my eyebrows in the morning for the next few weeks, considering it’s time consuming when doing my makeup! One less thing I have to do lol. One thing I did differently and maybe it’ll turn out better for you as well, I used a small, slanted and firm makeup brush to apply the products, this way you can angle it with precision. And for better results, repeat the process twice. I love this, I didn’t even have to use all the product for both eyebrows, so I still have for another time when they start to fade weeks from now.Another thing I recommend because a lot of bad reviews are from people who don’t know how to shape their eyebrows properly , and then they end up having a permanent mess, lol. If you don’t know how to apply evenly shaped eyebrows to your liking, then ask someone who does. There is no way this can go wrong if you do it right! Love this!
