ArmarkatCat Bed, Small, Light Apricot, 17"" l x 16"" w x 13"" h (C33HFS/FS-S)

I bought this Armarkat cat bed over a year ago (May 2021) and my kitty is still loving it. (She loves it over the other many cat beds I've purchased, which are now stored away.). Yes, it does arrived quite squished in the packaging, but after resting, it is full size. The sides stay up and the top stays up. Perfect! My kitty was not yet a year old when the bed was first received and, yes, she'd pounce on it, thereby collapsing the top. Sometimes, she just wanted to sleep curled up on the top. Okay. Whatever. Kitty is now over 2 years old and doesn't pounce on it much anymore. She crawls in every night and snuggles down. The bed is easy to clean. I usually use one of those red lint things (with a handle) to remove kitty hair in between washings. When I wash it, I do it on delicate and dry halfway on very low heat, letting it air dry the rest of the way. It is a durable cat bed! The top easily zips on and off, which I only remove it when cleaning. I am back on Amazon to purchase another one of these to put out on the covered porch for fall. I noticed that there were few reviews, so decided to rectify that with my own review. I love this cat bed!! And kitty does, too! Just to note, my kitty is small - 6.5# full grown (tabby munchkin) - and she has a lot of room in this bed. There is a larger version on Amazon that may be more suitable for large cats. The first thing I noticed about this item upon opening it was that it was completely squished inside vacuum-sealed packaging, and was a really dull, dirty color, not at all like the pink in the image. It looks more like that same pink bed was in the house of a heavy smoker for 50+ years. Also, the hood does NOT stand up and keep it's curved shape, because it's nowhere near as thick as the image makes it look, and also because it was smushed and creased inside the packaging. The stuffing also doesn't fill all the way to the edge of the hood, so there's no stiff edge to support it. It sags all the way down into the bed. I got it for my cats so they can be warm when it's cold, but they want nothing to do with it because of the annoying, sagging hood that would be smothering them.Some good points are that it seems to be reversible, including the cushion on the inside, so it can be silky when it's hot, velvety when it's cold. Also the hood is removable. But I could have gotten a much, much cheaper cat bed with the same qualities, without the sagging hood and pink-vomit color.
