Loving Each Other: The Challenge of Human Relationships

One of his most brilliant & insightful Great Books + How to see his wonderful lectures, online.
One of his most brilliant & insightful books for both the layman or Hard-boiled Academic of Psychology or Sociology. It's well worth saying, I can very personally attest to the fact this Magnum Opus book, plus Dr. Buscaglia's many other great works, particularly his book, "Love" -- can seriously change your life -- and I pray the world -- so very much for the better. Indeed, his greatest opus, "Love" personally changed my entire approach to life in general, so much for the better, now quite long while ago -- back when I was a teenager in High School. (In fact, I still re-read both LOVE, and LOVING EACH OTHER, as a rule, EVERY YEAR. Furthermore, I regularly give BOTH of these books, plus others of his, as much-appreciated gifts.)It's such a tragic loss, that Dr. Buscaglia is not yet still alive and with us; teaching us; writing still more Great Books like this, while traveling on the lecture circuit. Yet one can still be moved by his fascinating lectures: Don't miss his many lectures available NOW to watch for free, on YouTube. They make books like this one, come alive!

Buscaglia is probably one of the most memorable people I had the opportunity to hear at one of his LOVE seminars. I love to high
Aww, Mr. Buscaglia is probably one of the most memorable people I had the opportunity to hear at one of his LOVE seminars. I love to highlight important parts of a book and ended up writing all over it. Although it is an older book, it is more important now with all of our hate to read this and remember how important it is for humanity to teach our children how to love others and themselves.

Well written and timeless, really makes sense....
I’ve had this book for many, many years and just bought a copy as a gift for a friend. Motivational; the kind of book you read, can skip around to sections that interest you, and then later you can read it again.

If you had a PBS channel on TV in the 1980s, you at least heard of Leo Buscaglia
I never met Buscaglia, but my wife did. She went to a presentation of his in Petersburg, Alaska in the early 80s. She even got a hug from him. Loving Each Other is pretty good. Not as deep as I would have preferred, but okay nonetheless. 3.75 stars rounds to 4. His first book, Love, is better.

Love... Eternal and Timeless
Re-read this book after two decades to reconnect to and re-examine my stance on live and its many rewards and possibilities. I also gave it to a newly met and recently divorced person. It is a timeless classic that calls us into authentic expression and personal awareness.

Affirming
My very business headed husband actually bought this for me. It is VERY good. (Communication, communication, communication!) And although he'll never read it again, he does listen when I share it with him. Amazing. And very affirming to me. I know these things are important, and I'm obviously not the only one!

Always Learn from Dr. Buscagila
I bought this book over 25 yrs ago. Gave it to my 50 yr old daughter on her last visit. As soon as she left I felt totally sad not to have "Loving Each Other". I was so happy to learn that I could easily order a new one on Amazon. Buscagila has been a blessing to our family and friends for many years.

Well researched, dated but still very actual, practical
Buscaglia is very good writer and his research is accurate. The book explains in very simple terms what are relationship (not just romantic ones) between people, what makes them work and how to learn to be a better human being to those around us and ourselves. We all respond in different manner to various self help book styles, this is possibly more conversational and brings examples from other people. Less like a manual, but very helpful.I beleive it must be a very old book, but I found it relevant.

I love the easy and humanity with which Leo Buscaglia approaches and describes all the essential ingredients for "Loving Each Other" as a day to day experience.
