Bought this product so that we didn't need to spray individual pipette tip boxes with ethanol before their transfer to a materials safety cabinet. Bought the size 14 which is short enough to fit underneath the door easily but tall enough to fit a box of p1000 tips. In total, we could fit 1x p1000 box and 6x p200 boxes inside so plenty of space for what we needed. The internal dimensions listed are the minimum internal dimensions, so the height measurement is limited by the handles however it is taller towards the middle. Furthermore, there are very few lips on the box for dust and bacteria to accumulate so it is easy to spray down the outside. The inside was cleaned with 1% chemgene and 70% ethanol to make it sterile.

These are lovely containers and I think would be brilliant for storing items you want to ensure are locked down tight. Unfortunately the security of them backfires if you want regular access to your items. The clips are quite stiff and I find them hard work with my 50+ hands. Ok every now and then to open and close but I need something a bit easier to operate on a day to day basis.

Within two uses, the handle broke off one of the two containers during perfectly reasonable use. The lid of the second one cracked, despite stating they can be stacked when the top container only had 1.5kg of goods in it.The plastic is very thin and brittle.Inferior Quality for the money paid.

These boxes are brilliant we use them for storage of bird food and are being opened on a daily basis but the clips are strong enough to take thisArrived well packaged so no damageVery pleased with them
