Looks & feels like canvas. Used for doing artwork with pastel crayons. No problem.

What I want

These are the only pads we've been able to find for oil paints. My daughter got a really nice set of oil paints for Christmas and it's just too expensive to buy canvases all the time. She's really enjoyed this paper pad and the ability to paint without using a canvas every time. She also said it is very easy to sketch out her drawing on these sheets. I'm so glad to have finally found a paper that works with oil paints.

Ok, practice paper. One thing I was disappointed about was the paper is not white but a medium grey. I looked on the cover and write up and couldn't find where it said that the paper was grey. I had to go elsewhere and buy white because I wanted some cheap paper in white to start of in.

Good paper, reasonably priced.

This paper is a nicer, softer variety of finished one side heavy painting sheets. Others I have tried were overflocked, sticky when wet, wrinkled or folded. This product is heavy, but not too heavy, just enough to not curl, roll or change shape when you are working on it. Would buy again!
