Can this be connected directly to router to avoid Wi-Fi buffering?

Nope have to use WiFi and do you self a favour give this a miss only works well in the USA

How do i get USA address to set up?

If you are thinking about getting this well I would leave it ..I did register it as I've got a sister in US..but when I got it up and running I couldn't watch as most of the things only play in the US..so if you are wanting a good box ..have a look at the Reapp TV box 132g and it's cheaper than that And I've had no problems with it ..
