I love this extension, I am fairly tall and this allows the shower head to direct the water flow with perfect coverage.

The connecting pipe angled down and we had to duck under to get "rained on."So my sister went online and bought this one for me to install. I installed it totally by hand, no tools were needed. Very easy install. The shower head drooped until I tightened it in this manner. This is why I took one star from my rating. The hinge did stay put, but I should not have had to apply the amount of torque that I did to provide stability for the hinge.All in all, we are pleased with this extension arm. The price was right, and it was a easy install. Now my family is "Singing in the Rain."Sorry, I just couldn't pass up a bad joke.

Though it leaks just a bit, that can be expected for the price. It only drips when the adjustment knobs are loose, so once you put it in place and snug the knobs, the leaks stop. It does not stay in place unless you snug those knobs, so it isn't fully adjustable without loosening and then tightening those knobs. But the knobs require only a very small amount to snug down and hold position. Finish is bright and easy to keep clean. Have had it now for about a year and no problems, though once or twice I've moved it and forgotten to snug the knobs and it fell with a bang to hit the side of the shower.

Love this. Works very well and it's a super addition to my new shower stall. Very practical as well as good-looking. Well made.

I purchased this to go along with a 9" rain shower head. Easy to install, but can't support a lot of weight. When I screwed the shower head into it, the rod when dooooooown and there's no way to tighten it enough to support that much weight. I decided to keep it to use for a different shower head. Fingers crossed it will be able to support that one.

Outstanding product for raising your shower.

the fitting where the extension screws onto the shower arm is fixed, as in solid one piece construction (it doesn't spin) which makes trying to thread it onto the arm AND get it in position a challenge at best. Put plenty of pipe tape on (as recommended) yet still could not get into the position it needed to be in. Also, the extension itself is very small (diameter wise) probably close to half the diameter of the inside diameter the shower arm.

gave me the height i was looking for but very difficult to get it to the position shown in the picture. If you don't start threading it in the exact right spot then it ends up crooked and there is only flexibility to make the long arm go up and down, not right to left.

Even after sent me a part I didn't k ow was missing. Excellent
