Very smooth, solid medium roast, good sweetness, touch of acidity, not bitter nor burned. Excellent well rounded coffee.

Got hooked on this stuff when I visited Costa Rica for a recent vacation. Great flavors. Part of the weekend ritual in my family. Thankful to Amazon for carrying this in the store. Easy to order and I never want to run out of it.

Coffee taste is something bitter at first.However, taste start changing, and then, getting a very nicebeverage, later.

This coffee tastes great and while a bit pricey it is well worth the price.

Consistently good tasting

My husband won’t drink any other coffee so must keep it available and Amazon is where to find it. Also order the coffee pods of same brand. When we go to Costa Rica the guides tell us it is the best, so that is how he got hooked on it!

After traveling to Costa Rica on vacation I missed the 1820 brand. The freshness and quality is much better than other brands I've used in the past.

I love this coffee

We were introduced to Cafe 1820 coffee by a friend of ours on one of his returns from Costa Rica. It has a marvelous, well balanced, and robust flavour that is well rounded without tasting acidic or over-roasted. Sadly, it understandably appears to be unavailable during the pandemic. As wonderful as this coffee is, do not buy it for the $157.45 on offer from New Life Trade. This is price gouging and should be reported as such.

Schon beim Auspacken und Öffnen der Packung, wurde man extrem enttäuscht. Es kam einem absolut kein schöner Geruch entgegen. Die Kaffebohnen waren sehr schwarz und teilweise zerbrochen und etwas ölig. Ich gab ihnen dennoch eine Chance und habe mir einen Kaffee auf gewohnte Weise zubereitet. Der Geschmack war aber leider so unterirdisch schlecht - da half nur Zucker und Milch. Damit war der Kaffee irgendwie trinkbar aber weit entfernt vom bekannten Genuß der selben Marke, die ich bereits in Costa Roca getrunken habe.Nach einer halben Tasse kam es zu Bauschmerzen und einem schnellen Toilettengang.Da ich nicht direkt den ganzen Kilo Kaffee wegschmeißen wollte, gab ich ihm noch 2 weitere Chancen. Mit dem selben Resultat.Wer ein teueres, scheußlich schmeckendes Abführmittel sucht, der ist hier richtig. Allen anderen würde ich vom Kauf abraten.Geschmacklich ist er am ehesten mit Kaffee der Marke Tipp zu vergleichen.

Café découvert au Costa Rica sur recommandations d’un Tico et depuis on ne boit que celui ci . Très heureuse qu’ils soit en vente sur Amazon , c’était une belle surprise !
