I have been using this combo filter and light on my rimless 5 gallon betta tank. So far, it is working pretty good. It lights the tank up pretty well and is plenty of filtration and flow for me betta. It will not fit over a tank with a rim on it. Just make sure it fits the measurements that they provided in the description.

Suction power is alright and it’s also easy to clean. The built-in light is a bonus, because now, I don’t have multiple cords plugged into the wall! I believe this filter would be best for fishes that won’t produce a lot of waste.

The media could not be loaded.  Easy to set up. Plug and watch it go. Good for small aquariums to help circulate stagnant water. Light is not bright enough to light up a big tank. Multi color function on light set is cool. Red green blue white lights available. Easy to replace filter and cover stays put by swiveling it so you won’t lose it. Simple.

Bought 4 of them a month ago, one filter stopped working but light works, worried the others will start failing too

I adored this thing so much but the pump just stopped working after 5 months.

This is a pretty powerful filter so I recommend it in at least a 5 gallon. I love it is a filter and light, less wires and plugs!

Works as advertised. My aquarium glass was thicker, but cutting part of the plastic made it fit.The LED lights default to white color though, after power loss.
