Great! But pricey
None… I mean NONE of the birds in Southern Indiana will eat this. So I gave it to the squirrels and chipmunks. They won’t touch it either. What a waste of good money.UPDATE: I originally gave this 1 star based on the above review. However, I ran out of my regular suet and this was all that was left and the Birds, Squirrels and Chipmunks DEVOURED it! So if given a choice, this is the last one they’ll touch. But bc each column only lasts a day given all the hoards of birds that eat at my feeder, I wouldn’t buy this again. Too pricey.

Birds Are Happy!
Not sure why, but the price on this fluctuates a lot so you really have to catch it when the price drops. But I try to keep this on hand as my birds really love these! Very easy to hang.

Misleading ad
The product itself is ok and birds seem to like it. However instead of receiving 8 2lb logs I got 8 1 lb logs, which seems right for tge price I paid. However, I thought I was getting a better deal. The seller should have contacted me before shipping to explain the ad problem.

Most preferred by the birds in my yard
Birds in my yard prefer "peanut delight" logs over the other types by a substantial margin. I have four hanging devices that hold a log (or cylinder) and I've tried nuts, berries, bugs, etc. and several types of suet cylinders. With this arrangement, I can judge bird preferences by watching four logs at once.Note that these are one pound logs, not two pounds as listed (which is apparently a mistake by Amazon not the sellers). However, the logs are competitively prices even with the weight discrepency.Because of the small size, this product attracts smaller birds (because there is not enough landing space for bigger birds). As a point of reference, I live in Albuquerque and during the winter I have to change these logs twice a week. During times of peak activity, there are sometimes three birds sharing a log.

Happy Results
Our bird supply is wonderful and their version is twice the size but sold individually. They are priced very closely. The birds absolutely love this and can be gone in two days. They all line up on the fence and wait their turn. I prefer this pack mainly because it has 8 in them and I can stretch it out a little longer. I highly recommend them.

Wow! Even my picky birds love it!
I have to admit it, I was surprised. We have a lot of people feeding birds in my neighborhood, freeing the birds up to be extremely choosy. I just threw out the peanut butter feeder still full of peanut butter. Over the years I've tried all kinds of suet items and ended up throwing them all out untouched. It took about 4 days for them to notice the log after I put one out, but once they did it only lasted about 4 days and the hanging stick was clean as a whistle. Then I put out two at once.... and, sure enough, both were completely cleaned off! You can be sure I will be getting more!!Update July 9, 2017:The birds just go nuts over this log. They are eating 1 every day and a half. I could keep replacing it every other day. I am trying to ration it to 2 times a week, but it is hard. I have 2 other logs out there full of nuts and seeds. When this log is empty the go to the other logs and peck them half-heartedly, and fly away. When I put a new peanut butter delight log out, it only takes a few minutes for the birds to see it there, and then the log is jammed full of birds again, jostling for a prime eating spot. I have no idea what you did to make such picky eaters fight over it.... but whatever it is, thank you for feeding my birds and giving me enjoyment watching them!

Not as described, but birds enjoy
The description title said these were 2 lb logs, but they were 1 lb. But the birds eat them and quite quickly, especially the downy and hairy woodpeckers, nuthatches and even a few redpolls and chickadees. It's not too cumbly, so they have to work at getting it apart and it doesnt waste away in the wind or rain. I'd consider buying again if descriptions are corrected and price doesnt get too high.
