Usefull
As far as a lethal use they work good, but what our experience is that these work better as a flushing agent. If you know for sure that a groundhog or other varmint has only one way in and out yes...toss two in the hole and cover it up with packed dirt. We had groundhogs that make holes and dens under sheds and out buildings so we toss two in a hole and use a leaf blower to force them out and dispatch them, might sound kind harsh but after dealing with them on and off for 20 years we no longer relocate them and then run the risk of someone else having the problem, we just dispatch them as we find them, same with raccoons and skunks. Possums are the only critters I will actually relocate to a different area.

Works well to find holes
I use this product to find holes and any leaking of the tunnels. It did not seem to kill the moles, unless you followed up with a hose coming from your exhaust into the tunnels. That was 100% effective and killed all of them with carbon monoxide.

Something is working
Ok dealing with moles, gophers since I moved in 2 years ago. Tried scotts grub killer, ineffective. various other things done holes. Trub scotts grub killer a a specific brand of insect killer. Soaked and it worked two years. neighbors did not work on theres so back they came even around the sonic tubes I put in ground 20 of them. So just insect killer. Killed ticks ants etc. But stopped workings. I tried everything then I watched a video and he said grub PLus by Bayer well it stopped them dead in the yard but the strip was busy with them. So I sprayed the insect killer everywhere then it was not fast enough so I bought these mole smoke bombs. Trick is you must find an active hole and if light gets in hole they block it and move on. so go past the hole and dig in finally where it continues and place a bomb and cover immediately I put 4 in a parking strip in front of house and its been two weeks and all is quiet. The man on video said place bayer grub killer plus every two months into fall, The only hard part is its very hard to break up the hard round pellets but since it was march and I had waterd more than 2 inches then rains came and after two days it all disappeared. Their product should be more degradable in my opinion! If you can still see the white pellets it will not work. So far so good..

Did not work for me
I used 12 sticks in one tunnel at the same time, and.... today I ordered a Mole Eliminator Trap. Hopefully I will have better results that I had with: 1-castor oil (lots of it), 2- solar powered mole repellent, and combination of both.

Happy to see the result
I saw growing number of holes in my lawn. I used poison. The rats were not taking the bait, traps and glue killed more small birds than rats. I tried this gasser and the numbers of holes were not open any more. I guess the gasser smell was so strong in the tunnels that the rats either died in the tunnels or moved elsewhere. I still see some new holes, but a lot less than before. I will repeat the process one more time and hopefully no more rats in the lawn. This is the most effective way so far.

Useless
The fuse is attched firmly to the gasser, which I like. However once the fuse has burned off the gasser stops smoking. It appears that the gasser isn't consumed at all, thus it's not effective at all.

Moles gone!
They are fantastic! The moles have literally taken over my yard. So, I put them in my front yard, and moles were gone! Did the back right away. Now, gonna order more. The problem is, both my neighbors have them, UGH. But, I'm very happy 😁

It didnt kill any moles for me. I’m at my wits end…….
So far, not one dead mole. I’ve tried gallons of Castor Oil and hundreds of poison worms and nothing works..Maybe I don’t know how to pick the right tunnels…. I’ve gone though about 6 packages of these so far after the worms and castor oil…So no good review from me. I wish I could see less activity, but I don’t..
