Practical Size to use on whole face
I love these square pads because if you only have a small amount of make up on, you can utilise both sides and they are robust enough that you don't have to use more than one. They are quite expensive so if you want them for just everyday small things I would use a smaller one.

Great for cleanser…
they are a nice size, and not too thick, so don’t absorb a lot of the product…. One pad can be used for both cleanser and toner, due to the surface area on the pad…as I use one half for the cleanser, then the other half for the toner… saves using two cotton wool pads.
