Accurate Cut Every Time
Anyone who has tried to cut a pipe or tube with a hacksaw will know that an extremely good eye is necessary to cut it straight. This tool makes sure you get an accurate cut every time. It's easy to use, accurate and works well. Instructions are enclosed, but it is easy to work out for yourself. You simply clamp the tool round the pipe/tube turn, tighten, turn and keep going until it has cut through. The tool comes with two spare cutting discs. I used this tool to reduce the size of a tube for a blind. It was a fair sized diameter tube, but this tool dealt with it very well and gave a nice clean, accurate cut. A reamer is attached for even greater accuracy. It's a great DIY tool. Something a little more heavy duty is probably needed for professionals.

Brilliant little bit of kit
I needed to take an inch of each of 4 legs on 2 bar stools (8 legs in total). Other than some kind of metal, I had no idea what the legs were made of. They felt very solid though and they were heavy when I put the stools together. I was wary of this little pipe cutter but didn't want to spend mega bucks on the job so took a punt. For under a tenner this was brilliant. It took off 8 legs with the original blade so didn't need the spares. It was easy and the cut was so clean I didn't need to use a file to smooth any sharp edges. As long as you tighten gradually and do 2 or 3 turns between each tightening it does the job. I imagine this will breeze through softer copper or aluminum pipes.

It works!!
I was thinking it didn't on my first attempt to shorten an old curtain pole. It didn't work, so I threw caution in the air and attempted it on the new pole. Boom, it worked. Perfectly, the old pole must have been a crap one..

Great for BMX Handlebars
Spent ages reading reviews on cutters for BMX/Mountain bikes etc. and settled on these. No regrets at all. So simple to use, easily adjustable when cutting.Trimmed down my chromoly bars with ease. So much easier than a hacksaw.Would recommend.

Metal pipe cutter
We bought this to cut the metal poles for our wall-drobe. Cheap but effective. Did the job just as we needed. Sharp and neat cut.

Beneficial Tool
Was impressed with this tool did do a good job. Effortlessly cut through a copper pipe. Only draw back is, it's a bit big. I had to cut a pipe attached to the wall (pushed pipe out somewhat) so it wouldn't go all round. However did the job nice and easy. Worthwhile tool.

Simple and effective tools dont have be expensive
Worth highlighting, I bought this to trim handlebars for mountain bikes, and it does it easily. One or two were a little tougher than expected, but it didn't fail on them, and still hasn't failed after 20 or so more. I can imagine that different metals will have different effects on it, but for e this saw no walking off the bead once it got started, the first 1 or 2 turns just need a steady, slow pace then you can speed up. The dial moves freely and makes for easier application of pressure, more consistently while cutting.
