Great colour selection but pricey.

These paints are fantastic. I bought them for doing dot painting as they look so much prettier when they have a shimmer to the finish. It’s really expensive to buy individual metallic paint so I was really pleased to come across this box with 24 different colours in it. It’s brilliant value for money if you look at how much individual pots are. You get 60ml of paint in each pot which goes a long way. Each pot has a plastic stopper inside which you need to remove to access the paint. Once you’ve taken these out you can squeeze the paint through the nozzle in the lid. Removing these was a bit fiddly so young children would need a hand. There are tones of the same colour so various reds, greens, blues etc which is perfect for dot painting. As they are acrylic they dry fairly quickly ( metallic paint always takes a little longer to dry than ordinary acrylic paint), in about 10 minutes if you want to add a second coat. You wash your brushes in water as acrylic paint is water based. If you want to paint something for outside you would need to protect your piece with an outdoor acrylic varnish. The dot painting in my photo has not yet been varnished but still has that shimmer finish. This can be watered down if you require a thinner paint consistency but I’ve found it needs very little water added for dot painting. Kids would love this paint for creating really pretty pictures and it’s safe and easy for them to use. I’m really super happy with this box of paints and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy them again.

Quick drying ease if use.

These paints are cheap and were bought for the children. They portray the cheapness. The children were disappointed that their paintings didn't look as good as they wanted. I could see the difference in these paints and other acrylics they used. So I won't rush out to buy these again.

These were purchased for a gift wouldn’t purchase again. Picture should be black n red colours are not true this shows grey and pink. Metallic has good shine and if you just want any colours they are fine but I needed them to be true black and red. Have to keep them just wouldn’t buy again
