Zippo Tactical Lighter Pouch

Back a few decades ago, my rack (Navy storage bunk) had a spot dedicated to my many collectible ship name Zippos. I had Zippos from U.S. Navy vessels I served on, from others I traded with, other countries' Navies, other military branch units, and even civilian commemorative Zippos. Also, at the time, I had leather and webbing pouches like this to carry them when I was out on the town. We weren't exactly allowed to wear these on our nicer uniforms, but we could wear them on our work uniforms. I also served in different capacities and even a different military branch, and I collected more then, as well. Somewhere along the way, someone took it upon themselves to steal all of them from me. Sometimes, life is cruel that way. Fast forward to now. I decided to start collecting again and happened to see this for sale. Boy, what a good nostalgic feeling that went through me when I saw this. These are the similar to the pouches that I used to get on board ship and in PXs. While those weren't made by Zippo, they were U.S. made specifically for military members. Now, Zippo started making these, starting in tge early 2000s, almost exactly like those that I had earlier, and they are made here in the U.S. That means that this isn't a business that has succumbed to U.S. corporate greed. That means that you are supporting someone in the U.S. when you buy these. They are made as tough, military spec looking, in fact, they are now military spec, and as nice looking as those were 30/40 years ago. This pouch slides easily onto a belt, stays secure, and the lid stays secure, protecting your Zippo from damage or getting lost. You may ask, "Why not just keep your lighter in your pocket?" Kerosene/Naptha fuel lighters work best when they are carried and stored upright. When carried in a pocket, bag, large pouch, purse, etc., these lighters can get jarred open, and can leak out or the fluid can evaporate quicker. This is why these pouches are practical. I guess the more Zippos I buy, the more of these I'm going to buy.

This pouch is made from high quality materials and feels like it will last a long time. The stitching is great and the Velcro is strong. I have one for my zippo to keep it handy and protected while camping and one for my Wuben G5 that I keep on my hiking pack (the G5 fits perfectly). It’s also made in the USA. What more could you ask for!

Great material for lighter pouch. Durable and easy to close case. Snap loop for a belt or other. All around handy.

I've always kept a leather Zippo holder, but this is far superior! The button inevitably comes off the leather model. But this holder just gets better and softer every day, and the velcro closure hasnt lost its holding ability at all. The only, and i mean ONLY problem I had is the little MADE IN USA tag is a little scratchy on us muffin-topped individuals. I took it off with a razor blade, no harm done. I will only buy this type from now on. I'm ordering another one ASAP. Just in case...

Ordered to protect my zippo. Military green, good quality. I don’t think this could be used on a wide/std belt as the loop is very narrow. Does the job of protecting my lighter when it’s stored in a rucksack.
