Weldon Owen Downton Abbey Cocktail Book

This is a great cocktail book for serious cocktail enthusiasts, and the Downton connection is of course a bonus. There's a lot of good information in here in terms of contextualizing the drinks. The only thing I'd suggest is that they should have included notes about rare ingredients. There are many items listed with no explanation that I've never heard of, and we are a family of cocktail lovers with an old fashioned bar and many interesting ingredients on our shelves.The cover is beautiful and tactile - overall I think this is a fantastic addition to any "cookbook" library, bar or even as a coffee table book (although it is small). Makes for good perusing as well as being a reference manual.

Tried several of the libations from the book. Easy to follow and tasty results

Lots of interesting recipes from the TV show/movie. A good read - be prepared to add unique ingredients to your bar.

The pictures were inspiring. I wanted more information about period customs.
