New on Earth: Baby Animals in the Wild

I read a great article in Natural History Mag about New on Earth decided to buy it and was not disappointed.The photos are some of the best that will make you melt. But just as moving is the story line with each photo. It is sad to read which animals are close to extinction, but then happy to read those that are returning. The photos are babies interacting with mothers, adult males or other babies and each photohas an explanation of the babies behavior in the shot. So, you're not just looking at the pictures, but understanding what was going on. It was surprising to see the size of the book, and excellent qualityfor the small price. Buy it and help the Wildlife Conservation Network.

I just received my copy of New on Earth. This lovely book now graces my coffee table and I keep coming back to it to repeatedly look at the stunning photographs. Suzi's work is extraordinary, beautiful and inspiring. My goal in life is to try to get to at least half the places she has been!!! Thank you, Suzi, for all you do and for sharing it with us.

Nice range of baby wildlife photos in their habitat. The author/photographer is talented at establishing trust & many of the images incorporate eye contact with her subjects. The photos from Africa were my favorite. Beautiful book,

Suzi Eszterhas is one of the finest animal photographers in the World.This book is an incredible value in that the normal cost for a book of this quality would be $80-$120.

Love the photography and write ups. Can't believe some of the shots that were captured. This is a book you will pick up often.

Delightful coffee table read./book

I gave this to a family with small children. They “swooned” over it.

Enjoyed reading through it myself but a present for my son a vegan eco warrior reading Zoology at Bristol.

Ergänzt werden die Bilder durch Hintergrundinformationen über Aufnahmeort, Tierart und Entstehung der Aufnahmen, aber auch ohne diese Angaben drückt jede Szene eine eigene intensive Atmosphäre aus.Suzi Eszterhas will mit ihren Fotos auf die Gefährdung vieler Tierarten aufmerksam machen, und bezeichnenderweise sind die meisten Aufnahmen in Schutzgebieten entstanden, da viele dieser Wildtiere anderweitig kaum noch anzutreffen oder stark bedroht sind. 30 % ihrer Einnahmen aus diesem qualitativ sehr hochwertigen und dennoch preisgünstigen Bildband spendet die Autorin an Wildlife Conservation Network. Ich habe dieses Buch zum Geburtstag bekommen und ich kann mich gar nicht sattsehen an den Bildern.Dazu halt die Erklärungen zu den Entstehungen dieser (nur in Englisch), sind einfach phantastisch.
