When you point this gun at anything and switch it on it heats up whatever you are pointing it up. However don’t use it as a hairdryer as it burns the ends of your hair and you spend several hours in A & E!

This works well, but the power cable is WAY TOO SHORT. I am 5ft5, but its hardly an arms length of cable.Its ridiculously short. Not an issue if you only have skirting to do, you can rest the extension on the floor. But if you are working on a door for instance you have the extension hanging, adding extra weight to the arm holding it as well as to the plug itself. The extension you HAVE to use will knock whatever you are stripping. Hence the low marks. Previously with short power cables I have hooked the extension on a tool belt. But this is too short for even that.

Used to melt candle wax - good . The only problem I have come across is that the lead is too short. Otherwise it is a good product. Good communication and friendly quick service.

Good value for money. I have been forced to strip the Sandtex paint off the rendered walls of my ancient 4 story, 6 bedroom house....dont as why. We (wife and I) have used two of these to strip ALL the paint off. That's probably 10 times the square footage that you'll ever need and they are STILL working. For the excellent price, I am amazed! We do NOT work for or receive anything from this supplier.

Kicks out a good heat on two different settings. However, the paint nozzle split in half as soon as I tried to attach it. Additional nozzles are flimsy. Happy to use it without and it did the job of removing at least 5 layers of paint so good for the money

Ideal with temperature and speed control. Highly recommend it. Good value for the money

After trying paint stripper , did a little google search and found that the heat gun was the way to go when stripping paint from wood, it works well and has reduced the time it was previously taking when using paint stripper.Would recommend be careful as it gets real hot and could burn the wood if not careful.

Had a Bosch heat gun in the past for year's, this one was half the price and just as good. Used it for stripping paint off staircase 😎
