A little Gem
Initially I was disappointed at the size of the book as I felt it was very pricey for less than 100 pages. However, it has turned out to be a little gem. I'm using it for my diploma in counselling. I find McMillan explains the theory easily so I didn't 'switch off' as I do wading through other books. He uses case studies to illustrate. It is a good addition to the recommended reading material on my course.

Less than a 100 pages
This is a concise look at the Person Centred Approach. Personally I think it was an outrageous price to the size of the book and purchasing Client Centred Therapy by the man himself or Dave Mearn's Person-Centred Counsellingin Action would provide you with more value for money.

The Person-Centered Approach to Therapeutic Change
I haven't read the book, because it is one of my textbooks for class next semester. However, it came to me in good shape and in a reasonable amount of time.

A good basic text
This was a required text for grad school. It was a handy reference and gives a good overview of humanistic/person centered theories.
