This kite has a 23" wing span it is 20" in height 100% nylon with 100 feet of line with an attached tail. This kite is designed for younger children.

Q: It says no assembly required but how does one connect the kite to the string/handle?

The kite has a tether. You tie the string to the tether

Q: Is the tail REALLY 14 FEET long as stated in description?!

Yes, tail is 14 feet long. Had to double it up to 7 feet overall to stabilize the kite, or else it would not fly well.
