This brush is 14cm long and the suction is at the tube end rather than towards or in the middle of the brush. Because of this the little suction it has is at one end, so is badly designed and therefore fairly ineffective. Probably only ok for fairly light dust on hard surface, I don't think it would pick up much on carpet. It looks fairly robust. I have not worked out how to swivel the head, it has 2 arrows, one pointing each way but it does not move.

Very useful attachment with two way swivel joint so you can orient it in almost any direction. I use this with a Miele S6220 vacuum cleaner for inside walk-in wardrobes etc. and on hard floor surfaces.EDIT: I have reduced this rating to four stars after a few months light use as the swivel joint is gradually becoming a little loose. It is still usable, but it is a bit inconvenient to have to repeatedly correct the angle of the joint. I suspect Miele's own model would be somewhat better in this regard.

Expensive compared to other makes but well made and just the job I have to say a lot better than many other makes work

Nice accessory that seems however to leak suction power and doesn’t hold itself. It will fail apart every while and then but luckily can fix it by reassembly.

Der Schwachpunkt dieser Bürste ist tatsächlich, dass sich Arretierung nicht sonderlich stabil ist. Vor allem auf Oberflächen aus Stoff, etwa einem Sofa, kippt deswegen der Bürstenkopf schnell weg, wenn man sie in Querrichtung bewegt. Besser wäre eine echte Arretierung, ich überlege gerade, ob ich das mit einem stabilen Klebeband löse. Dann allerdings verliert man die gezeigten Eigenschaften in Überkopfhaltung. Die Darstellung des Saugens einer Schrankoberfläche ist allerdings ohnehin eine Farce, denn wenn das Rohr im Weg ist, kommt man da oben nicht weit. Eigentlich ist die Bürste ohne improvisierte Zwangsarretierung nur für glatte Oberflächen wirklich geeignet. Allerdings, auch zu bedenken, sinkt natürlich die Saugkraft mit der Fläche des Saugbereichs, die serienmäßige kleine Bürste hat da deutlich mehr zu bieten. Aus meiner Sicht bringt das Teil am ehesten in Verbindung mit der Schlauchverlängerung etwas, weil man dann sozusagen freihändig den Aufstellwinkel variieren und somit die Arretierung schadlos blockieren kann. In Verbindung mit Rohr und "bremsenden" Oberflächen ist der Nutzen kaum zu gebrauchen. Da würde ich mir eine feststehende Alternative irgendeines Fremdherstellers suchen.
