Black Wireless Bluetooth HV-803 Stereo Secure Fit for Sport Headset Headphone with Crystal Box Gifts

This represents my first impressions of this item - I will update this review with more detail after I've had a chance to use the item longer.FIRST IMPRESSIONS:- Let me start off by saying this is a blatant knock-off of the Jaybird Bluetooth earphones. Not only do they mimic the style, but the manufacturer goes to great lengths to make you think it IS a Jaybird (Note: Neither Amazon, nor the seller make any such claim, so I knew what I was getting going into this purchase - just make sure not to be fooled by the packaging). The packaging says "GET JAYBIRD BLUETOOTH EARPHONES FOR" and lists features including "Official training earphones of USA Triathlon" (Notice it doesn't actually say that this IS a jaybird, nor that THIS ITEM is the Official earphones of the USA Triathlon, just that you should "Get Jaybird" for that ... Pretty sneaky. (See photo)Nowhere on the package, nor in the user manual does it list any manufacturer, nor does it have any contact/warranty info. The only info is that it is made in china.PACKAGING:Packaging is pretty attractive and well put together - and even easy to open. (See photo)MANUAL:Manual is useful and accurate - Instructions are easy to understand - the English is a little broken but not bad.FIT:I assume your mileage may vary on this one depending on the size and shape of your ear. There are several ear gels included as well as additional sizes of the ear cushionsEAR CUSHIONS:The "Patented Secure Fit Ear Cushions" which are indeed patented by Jaybird, but almost certainly not by this manufacturer, are actually rather pliable - not sure what the material is - but it is not hard plastic - its fairly comfortable, but not perfect - perhaps with a bit more playing with different sizes I'll find an even more comfortable fit.EASE OF USE:Pairing with my phone was extremely easy and the instructions in the manual worked perfectly.RANGE:I haven't had an opportunity to fully test this - but I can say that I tried to hold my phone as far away from my ears as possible (near my knees) and there was no cut-out so the range should be sufficient for anyone keeping their device in a pocket, or waist/armband.SOUND QUALITY:3 out of 5 ... its not bad, its not great either. The sounds seem a bit dull and off, but are certainly fine for working out with.BATTERY LIFE:(coming soon - I will update this as I get a better feel for it)MICROPHONE QUALITY:(coming soon)OTHER THOUGHTS: - A carying bag is included - it is nothing special, but seems fairly nice - A microUSB cable is including, but no charger - can use most cell phone chargers, or a USB port on your computer - As long as the item holds up, which remains to be seen, its a good value for the money.

First set didnt work, we contacted the company and a new set was sent immediately. They can last for two days of talk time and have good quality voice sound on both ends.

These broke after 2months the USB charging port broke.not happy at all with this product cheap made. I know there not 50$ bluetooth set. But just not worth the money or time.

Range is very short- fades with phone on hip while walking.
