Why would I choose single-sided sheets instead of a fold-over pouch?

Single-sided sheets give you a choice. Cover just the front of things you'll post, mount, or stick down, and add a second sheet on the back only when you need full coverage. Each sheet can also be trimmed to fit odd shapes.

How do I line up the second sheet on the back without it going crooked?

Peel back only a 1-inch strip of backing and tack that edge down first, lining it up with the first sheet's edge. Once it's straight, pull the rest of the backing away slowly while smoothing across.

The corners started lifting after a while—how do I keep them sealed?

Corners lift most when the film ends right at the paper's edge. When covering both sides, leave a thin border so the two sheets bond to each other, press every edge firmly with a card, and round sharp corners so they don't catch.

I got a small air bubble after sealing—is there any way to fix it?

Often, if you catch it early. Press firmly with a credit card from the center of the bubble toward the nearest edge. Bubbles far from an edge are easier to prevent than fix, so smooth in small sections rather than all at once.

Why do I see tiny specks or a cloudy spot under the film after laminating?

Specks are usually trapped dust or lint; cloudy spots are fingerprints on the adhesive. Wipe your document and surface with a lint-free cloth, peel the backing right before applying, and hold the sheet only by its edges.
