Q: What kind of covers are on it?

The outer cover is a nice, smooth cotton/muslin type of material. It doesn't move or shift when you are ironing. Underneath the outer cover is nice, thick padding. The whole thing is substantial, very well constructed.

Q: what is the size of it? AND....Since it does NOT fold, how high is it?

The size is 20 by 9 by six inches

Q: Can you get replacement covers?

I've not seen replacements. But you could make one.

Q: do sleeve board stay in place?

I've never had a problem with it moving around as I place it on my ironing board. If you put it on a slick counter it could move around. I love mine!
