SteinerMM1050 Military-Marine 10x50 Tactical Binocular

This is a well constructed optic device. It is robust and a little heavy. Water resistance is reliable and effective. The clarity and light gathering is top knotch. I have had other binocs, but this is one of the best and certainly the best performance for the dollars invested. I've had my first Steiner binocs since 1989; still working well. One caveat: I did lose an eyepiece. They can work out with use. If you are not careful, they can be lost. Steiner supports their devices with all necessary parts.

Fantastic binoculars, I've been wanting them for years. They went on sale and I immediately bought them. Auto focus works great, remember these are for long range. I have heard some people like bird watchers have issue with close range with this system. If you ever want to understand why some of these are so expensive, go to a local store and pick up a cheap pair and an expensive par with the same specs eg 7x40 and compare what you see. It's not just build quality, it's also the glass that is important.

Great binoculars. Great for boating as the wave motion does not affect the ability to use them effectively given their wide field of vision.
