Almost Every Golf Ball was Mint!
Here’s my detailed review. First a few things of note. I’m a 6 handicap golfer. I carried a 2 handicap for many, many, years until age and arthritis caught up to me. I also belong to a well know golf course, country club where I play 3-4 rounds a week. I’ve been a devout Titleist Pro V1 golf ball, fanboy, the entire time I’ve played.Recently, my partner, I were playing a round with, lost his drive off the tee into tall fescue. While he was looking for his wayward drive, he found a pristine Kirkland Performance + golf ball and tossed it to me.I had read some old reviews about Kirkland, back in the day, allegedly getting into some legal woes for manufacturing a 4 piece ball that they claimed played almost identical to a Titleist Pro V ball. This story turned out to be almost a big nothing burger. But Kirkland, did decide to stop making a 4 piece ball (too bad) instead now a 3 piece ball. What I was holding was a Kirkland Performance + 3 piece ball. So, I decided to play the rest of my round using it. To my surprise, It was a really good ball! Off the tee, no issues. Second shot with a long iron, no problems (par 5) and wedge into the green the ball had a little lower flight, but I could still stop the ball without any changes in my swing over a Pro V1 ball.I saw this deal on Amazon for Mint Kirkland Performance + balls. I took the bait and bought them. They just arrived. Almost every ball was perfect. There were 3 balls that had a very small, minor scuff that wouldn’t affect it being playable. I noticed some reviews complained about ball markings from Permanent Markers. He’s a note…A ball is still ‘pristine’ if the ball itself is in perfect condition with only a pen mark made by a golfer to help identify his ball being played from someone else’s ball. A pen mark is not an imperfection, so stop complaining about such a thing. A scuff mark that has broken the outer skin of the ball, is an imperfection that would make a ball not mint condition. Some reviews have talked about an unpleasant smell when they opened their boxes. Yes, there is a smell. But nothing that made me winch, turn my head away, or cause my eyes to water. If the odor bothers some-they must have a super sensitive noise, like a Bloodhound has. A new car smell must really bother some reviewers then, too. Will I play with these balls over my beloved Pro V1’s? Probably not. I will put a few in my bag to share with my golfing buddies, to get their opinions of the . I will definitely take they as my travel balls when I go to play golf in places outside the US. My wife plays golf, so I will load her bag up with the Kirkland balls.Yes, these are very nice golf balls for a low, mid, or high handicap golfer. Yes, almost all the balls were in mint condition. Yes, there was a very, very, slight odor that didn’t offend any of my 6 senses. And yes, this is one heck of a good deal.

What I ordered is what I got.
I ordered 72 Kirkland Signature Performance Plus - Near Mint (AAAA) Grade - Recycled (Used) Golf Balls,White.I recieved.72 Kirkland Signature Performance Plus - Near Mint (AAAA) Grade - Recycled (Used) Golf Balls,White.I read the reviews; some people complained of the smell of what I assume is a cleaning agent. Yes, that was there but I'm really happy that these are as near perfect as any in my golf bag.I placed them outside in the sun and wind for a couple of days and fixed the slight smell.Very smooth, bright, and like new. Some do have a personalized marker line on them (maybe 5)? Nothing that affects my play.Go get some.

Good Value
I got 74 balls instead of 72. So that’s cool. Out of 74 balls, only 8 were scuffed pretty good. So roughly 90% of these are in great condition. I’ll take those odds any day! I’ll prob use those scuffed ones to tee off over water situations. For a mid handicap player, these are a greatvalue. I will buy these again.I played a round with these and they performed great! Feel soft and check nicely on the greens.
