Bosley Sees the World: A Dual Language Book in German and English

Bosley Sees the World
I used this book in my German class to help adult students learn to read and speak German. My students enjoyed the book and it helped them have fun learning German. A couple of them plan to buy this book for their grandchildren. As a teacher, it certainly has the right level of vocabulary for adults who are learning German for the first time and for those who are refreshing their German about 30 to 40 years after learning it the first time in college. We all give many thanks to Timothy Johnson and his associates for creating beginner level dual language books.

Excellent!
Purchased the book and several others back in October. Accidentally purchased two of each due to poor internet connection at my end. Delivery, return, and refund were all done with exemplary efficiency. The books were all great! Would certainly recommend.

Great to read to little ones
Our six month old son loves the Bosley bear series. The books are very interesting to him, and I love the German and English translations side by side. In the back, there are vocabulary lists, which are helpful. I am learning some new words myself! As a stay-at-home mom, I find it interesting to practice a language and read to my baby at the same time, I feel that it benefits us both!

Excellent dual language learning
This children's book came promptly and is excellent for my 3 year old grandson, who is moving from Hong Kong to Germany and is learning German. A fun story in English and German, making language learning very accessible. Helps the adults who read it too!!

A great buy for a multilingual house, but beware the translated grammatical mistakes.
"Bosley Sees the World" is the only one of the Bosley books so far (other than the first words one which has too few words to have mistakes) which does not have grammatical errors in it. These Errors are so slight that someone not fluent in German wouldn't notice them, but someone who speaks with native German speakers often is quick to see that there are times when the translations are too literal (as in German speakers don't speak like that) and other times when there are glaring incorrect words used (sometimes they aren't even translated). On a whole, the books are BEAUTIFULLY illustrated and the stories are fun for children learning to speak two languages at once. The grammatical errors are easily fixed for someone fluent in the language already.
