Our NEW formula made with Hemp Seed Oil and helps prevent odor and wetness!! New Stick-Up, new packaging... eco friendly cardboard push-up containers (no plastic, no BPA)! For years, you've been slathering those flowery smelling deodorants into your pits. And where did that get you? Exactly NOWHERE. The least little bit of sweat and there's that all-too-familiar odor...whew. You feel like you've been in the gym for 3 hours. Even the dog looks at you like, "Really?" C'mon--it's time for a dramatic change. It's time for a Stick Up... All this time, you've been using anti-perspirants and deodorants that help you NOT to sweat. But I've got news for you-you WANT to sweat! And here's why... Sweating not only cools the body, but it also removes toxins. Antiperspirants actually prevent the body from "purging toxins," which, when trapped, find their way into the lymph nodes, where they concentrate and contribute to harmful cellular changes within the body. IMPORTANT INFORMATIONNo chemical preservatives are added, please use within 12 months. For those making the switch from commercial deodorant and antiperspirants, please be aware that RE-APPLICATION may be necessary for the first few weeks until your pit cleanses and adjustment takes place. Re-apply when an odor is noticed- the Stick Up should neutralize the odor. Re-application needs should taper as the body adjusts. We suggest applying a few times a day for the first few weeks while the body purges toxins and adjusts to the Stick Up

Not as expected
I wanted to love this. I truly did. After shopping around for quite some time for natural deodorant, I decided on Primal due to it being vegan & environmentally friendly. However when I received it, it came in plastic packaging. That defeats the entire purpose and is false advertising. Especially the price being on the higher range of deodorant.Secondly, I’m not one to sweat but this stuff did not work for me. I waited a week to make sure I was adjusted, but I smell even after a second swipe in the middle of the day. It’s like a mix of tea tree oil and stink.

Too messy!
I love the fragrance, and it works okay for preventing odor- not great. The worst thing is that it is very crumbly. When I remove the lid, little crumbles fall off and go everywhere, and more crumbles fall off when I put it on. Pre-warming it does help make it less crumbly, but doesn't stop the lid crumbles, and I don't have time to warm up my deodorant every day before I can put it on. Also, the white does rub off onto clothes, which I dislike.

BEST DEODORANT EVER. 1 stick has lasted more than 6 months
***UPDATED 5/4/20 TO SAY the plastic film around the outside of the tube has vanished. I bought the Black Lavender to give it a fair comparison against the White Lavender I love so much and it came with a paper safety seal sticker instead of the plastic film! YAY!!***I ordered my first stick of this deodorant at the beginning of October 2019, and I'm still not out of it 6 months later. In fact, I think I have 1-2 months remaining. I can use WAY less than my old "natural" deodorants, which each lasted 2-3 months at the most and cost $8-10 each. I had been skeptical about ordering a stick of deodorant which cost this much, but it actually turns out to be cheaper than what I was using before! This is in large part due to the fact that the deodorant lasts 2 days before I need to reapply. I'm also in love with the fact that it has a fragrance and hasn't given me a rash. I have very sensitive skin, and am allergic to every artificial fragrance I've come into contact with - so this has been a welcome change!I have convinced my husband to try this also, and he has enjoyed the Black Rogue version. I tried it also, since the White Lavender can transfer some white to your clothes immediately after application (even with rubbing it in). It's easy enough to avoid, and not a deal breaker for me, but I wanted to try one of the Black versions to make informed future decisions. I didn't personally like the Black Rogue version as much. For me, it smelled a LOT stronger (Oils of Lavender, Bergamot, and Peppermint vs just Lavender in the White Lavender stick) and didn't seem to last as long. To be fair, I felt overwhelmed by the smell, and only tried it for a couple of days before deciding that one belonged to my husband - so it may have gotten better with time if I'd stuck with it.Now that the temperatures are coming into their full Texas Heat glory, we have been able to validate that we can both get to the point of "drenched in sweat" and still not stink. AMAZING!Like so many others, I wasn't thrilled that this product came wrapped in a plastic film...but I choose not to throw a fit about it. Compared to the plastic tubes I used to purchase (I would have gone through 2-3 by now!), the plastic "safety seal" wrap over a robust paper tube that I can compost when it's empty is a vast improvement. I think it's important to remember that unless you're shopping locally from someone who is handcrafting their products, it's VERY difficult to order something that produced no waste at any point. Heck, even then there would be no guarantee the seller didn't order something that came in plastic to make what you bought. Focusing on the things we can control is key; like the fact that *reducing* waste through our purchasing choices ultimately adds up to a big impact. "Zero Waste" perfection is too lofty a pursuit for most.I hope this company will find a way to "safety seal" these tubes without plastic down the line; maybe via paper tape? I also sincerely hope to find these locally some day! Keep growing, Primal Life - we need more companies like you! :)

Developed painful lumps under skin
I started using this product 2 months ago and was in LOVE with the fact that it was able to keep my sweat at bay; something no other natural deodorant has been able to do. Unfortunately I freaked out when a week ago I developed 2 painful lumps in my left arm pit. I thought they were boils or irritated hair follicles so I skipped use of the deodorant and used a hot compress to let my pits breathe. They went away in a couple days which eased my fear that they were something more serious (Web MD got me all crazy with the C word). I started using this product again 2 days ago now I have MULTIPLE lumps in EACH armpit which are extremely sore to the point I can't put my arms all the way down. I think it has something to do with the obviously high concentrations of essential oils and residue the product leaves on the skin.I'm hoping with the same abstaining from use of deodorant and letting my poor armpits take a breather things will get back to normal. I hope others don't experience this because the product did work very well for the first couple of months.

Not worth the money.
Honestly this is the first eco-friendly deodorant I’ve tried and I’m turned off completely. It doesn’t last long AT ALL even when I’m just lounging around at home. 3-4 swipes as instructed. I wondered if I just needed more, but then it starts balling up and sticking to your shirt.Something else is that it doesn’t come off of skin easily. I clean my armpits in the shower like anyone else, but when I get out I see white buildup in the finer creases of my skin that takes scrubbing with an exfoliating cloth to get off of my skin. Why is it so hard to get off if it doesn’t even do anything to counteract body odor?Just don’t buy this. I wish I spent my money on something else. I can only see myself continuing to buy plastic-container deodorant if all green options fail this miserably.
