It is nice but doesn't really works as a bookholder
After almost 2 months I can give a review to this product. It comea very well packed and secured. It is quite lite and at the bottom it has 4 rubbery peaces to i.prove the grip on the surface. The only issue is that if you put too many books (that one in my picture is actually my maximum carriage before it starts to slide away) the holder will start to slide away and eventually will make the book fall. This is easly resolved by putting its extremity on something more static like the wall fpr example, but actually doing this it lose a bit its porpoise. Anyway it looks very stylish and add a touch of fun to your library!

Very beautiful but completely useless as a bookend
The picture is very misleading. I assumed the effect shown was possible because the flat base ran both sides of the upright, but this is not the case. As a result this bookend wIll only hold up one or possibly two small books without sliding away due to the weight of the books leaning on it. I have now bought a standard bookend to hold the books up and am using this bookend to hold a few papers at the end of the run and look beautiful.

Looks great, but not much more…
It just not hold the books… the weight of 4 or 5 books is sufficient to push it over and the books just end up on the floor!

Really cool, love it
Really good, quirky product - exactly as pictured.Product is made with sturdy metal, and has tiny rubber feet to stop it sliding. Would need another bookend / a wall or something the other end to stop books sliding the other way.

Fun
Fun item bought as a gift, so not yet tested on bookshelf. Figure is quite small, but I should have expected this from the illustration. Hopefully will have some impact once it's in place.
