Jet5-Micron Filter & Collection Bag Kit, for DC-1100/1200 Dust Collectors (708636MF)

Item is not accurately described. It does not fit older jet dc-1100 machines(late 90's). This is for newer dc-1100 machine, 20 in diameter, not compatible with 18" diameter machines. That information could have easily been listed( see, I just did it). Seller was unwilling to admit their listing was not accurate and made me pay return shipping, despite their poor item description. The seller was extremely rude and condescending in their communication. I would not use this seller,for this item,or for any other item!!!Now to the filter: this item is actual not a very good filter anyhow. Much better to use a cartridge filter from Wynn Environmental. Wynn Environmental is extremely helpful and insures you get a great product at a fair price. They understand customer service!!!!I guess I should thank CT Power Trolls for being so rude I did more research and ended up with a better product. Thanks Trolls!!

Perfect fit for my dust collector. Plus included the band, and 5 plastic collection bags. Very satisfied with this product.

I agree, this product needs a better description, it is designed for the DC-1100 with the 20 inch filter ring. I called JET, and they said they do not make either a 5 micron bag kit, nor a cartridge for the 18 inch older DC-1100.I devised a simple work around. I used a ratcheting tie down strap instead of the supplied metal tension strap to hold the upper bag in place. I folded the excess material and clamped it down tight. For the lower plastic bag, I first just put the old canvas bag inside it and it to test if the smaller compression ring from the old 30 micron bag would hold the plastic in place. It did, so i just cut the old ring out of the old bag and used it instead of the 20 inch ring supplied with the 5 micron set.. It may not look pretty, but after testing with sawdust you could definitely see the vortex action in the lower bag spinning the dust out of the air stream.
