Better than the plastic ones and if bands were available would be way better.
The first one the band fell apart within a week, and I could not find Kids bands at15mm the watch part itself was built well.Second one the inside got wet and the paper wrapped around the hands when my little played in wet snow.

Waterproof
The first unit was not waterproof so the spiderman and white background got damaged by water. Had it replaced and and up to now, it is in fact waterproof. Kid loves it

Better than I expected
This watch is awesome! Bought this for my 5 year old son and he loves it. Good for learning to tell time. Seems to be very good quality and with the velcro strap he has no problem putting it on or taking it off. Was way better than I expected.

it is very nice. However, the hands need to be darker so they can be more visual.
I bought this for my grandson. He loves it, but I find both the long and short hand too light against the back ground & hard to read. But he loves it. It is easy for him to learn to tell time.
