UPDATE:Based on my review below, the company reached out to me to address my sizing concern. I was really shocked to hear from them - that’s some personalized service! They actually cared and wanted me to understand how their sizing works. Silly me, I actually ordered the wrong size. But I was worried the small would be too small, and they helped me understand how the adjustable dial works. I ordered the small and lo and behold, it was a perfect fit for my son! He loves the helmet and thinks he looks pretty cool in it. I feel good knowing my son is wearing quality protection that is durable, and made by a company that cares about its customers.The helmet I ordered was too big for my 12 year old son. It would be better if this came in s, m, l, and xl. Because this only comes I. 2 sizes, it makes it more difficult to find a good fit. The helmet itself seems sturdy and very protective.

Great helmet. Our school has balance bikes and bicycles on the playground. My twins are almost 5. With big ole heads. I took my kids to a big box store just to see availability and they needed an 8-13 year helmet. So does it run small? Do my kids have gigantic heads? Maybe yes on both. But it does secure well, they enjoy the fit, and well ...dozens of falls ice skating and countless falls on the playground. Their noggins are safe. If there was only a chip near the ear to make them listen :-)

Bought this helmy for my noggy, and couldn’t be more pleased with it! I was recently yeeted off of my longboard at 30 mph by a pothole, and my head was kept safe! Good job, TurboSke. You kept my brains in my head!

Purchased this for my 10 year old daughter who is just learning to skateboard. She has wiped out quite a bit doing “drop-ins” at the skatepark and the helmet has done it’s job and kept her head protected. My daughter really likes the helmet because there is plenty of padding inside and it is lightweight. The fit is perfect for her. The airflow holes in the top keep her from getting overheated. Happy with this purchase.

My daughter’s head measures 21.5 and according to the sizing chart, a S/M should fit. I ordered the S/M and it won’t even fit my younger kid whose head measures 20”. Comparing it to another helmet we have, this looks so narrow and long. Both kids complained it was right. Adjusting the straps is also very difficult. Wish I could return.

This is a really nice helmet and it's great on my 11 year old son. We did have to use the rear adjuster knob and open up to the largest setting and its it perfect. I've had motorcycle helmets football helmets but for some reason I can't figure out the chin strap on this helmet. I end up with the big loop that you see in the picture. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but can't seem to get it right and so it's not snug on my boys chin. I consider myself somewhat intelligent but I am stumped on this one.

I have a big head and the L/XL fits me well, the fit is even made better with a tightening knob (like a hard hat). Only complaint is that it scratches a little too easily, but for $20 its pretty much disposable once it gets beat up

It's got a staple- piece aesthetic with a vibrant light blue so, if you're looking to stand out (perhaps for style, but most importantly, for safety), this is the helmet you're looking for. It's very light, and aside from the inner cushion-lining, you can hardly tell it's on your head while wearing it. Thank God , I haven't had any accidents while riding, but I feel secure in this helmet should something ever occur.
