Great Recipea at a Good Price
Lots of great info and the price was right. The hard cover will make it stay in good condition for a long time.

Pity it is American
I found this book a little difficult to use because of the different weight measurements. Some of the receipts include vegetables and fruits which are hard to find in the UK and therefore some substitutions are needed. I only copies a few of the recipes and the book will now go to a charity shop.

Great recipes
Made several of these recipes in the past couple of weeks, really good. Easy to read and recipes are easy to follow. First time I had cookbook opened on kitchen counter though, the binding cracked and some pages separated. But of course it's still usable; could I have overused it in 2 weeks? I could have done with less seafood recipes, but that's just me. I did bring into work and my coworkers loved it also and are ordering it.

A lot of main dishes weren’t all in one recipes
This book was ok. I got some decent recipes out of it, but I was looking for a more “all in one” recipes and this book was more a recipe for meat or fish and then a separate recipe for a side or a note “to make it a meal add…” It does have a section for quick meals. But we also did some of the lunch and breakfast stuff for dinner and just added rice or extra fruit. But my daughter and I are very small so it worked that my daughter and I would each it a portion and my husband who is 6 ft would eat two portions. I found the layout of this book extremely frustrating. It’s hard to find the recipe you are looking for. The index doesn’t include the name of the recipe, but for example lists the page numbers of all shrimp dishes. And at the beginning of each section there is no quick list of recipes under that section so I’m constantly thumbing through it trying to find the recipe I’m looking for and in the end, I just started writing down the page of the recipe in my points journal that I keep. I got some good recipes, but the main meals were a lot of meat and veg that didn’t appeal to me. And note this is a points plus cookbook. I was wanting the old school regular points cause I didn’t belong to weight watchers and googled my points allowance by weight and borrowed my friend’s old books that calculated everything in regular points.
