This is my first experience with a product by Eve Lom, but unfortunately, it might be my last. It isn't because the product doesn't work or is somehow ineffective or unappealing. Actually, I really like this midweight moisturizer! It isn't too heavy, and it absorbs quickly, so it doesn't feel too greasy on my skin. It comes with a small spatula for cleaner dispensing, and i even like the fragrance. But Eve Lom sell their products in mainland China, where animal testing is mandatory. From their website: “Eve Lom does not test on animals and never asks others to do so on its behalf. However, if an international authority demands such testing for safety or regulatory assessment, unfortunately, it is obliged to comply.” They seem to be saying that they are against animal testing...until it interferes with their making more money. I can never support or recommend a company that puts profits above compassion, so I don't recommend this product.I hope that sharing my experience with this product might help YOU make a more informed purchase. Eve Lom Moisture Cream is a white cream with a moderately strong scent from botanicals and/or essential oils, such as lavender and peppermint oils. I’m not big on fragrance, but I don’t find the scent overpowering and or get a negative reaction (but some may). This is a nice cream that feels pleasant. It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any greasy residue on my skin. This doesn’t interfere with my makeup and could be used as a day and/or night cream.This cream is likely best for normal or combination skin given that my skin is dry and I don’t feel like this moisturizes my skin as much as I prefer. I do feel like it provides enough moisture to that my skin feels reasonably comfortable, though I boost the hydration by adding a moisturizing serum before the cream and by following with a facial oil. This does have potential irritants, but I haven’t had an issue despite having sensitive skin. It’s a nice cream and I like it, but I prefer a richer cream. 4 stars. Made in England.

EVE LOM | Moisture Cream - Multi-Tasking Moisturizer - 50 mlThis is a rich cream that soaks in without being greasy BUT I can't use it because it is so highly scented. It has an overwhelming floral fragrance and when I looked at the ingredients I was shocked to see the there were at least 14 things that are extracts with noticeable scents. I am not against scents, I like lightly fragranced creams but my skin is sensitive and this was overwhelming. There is a nice blend of ingredients that are super hydrating though. This also contains xylitol so if you have a dog, do not let them like your face after putting this on.
