Love the Hakkaa for expression to gather colostrum and initiate labor. Great for first few days when milk comes in and for let down postpartum. Lady bug is also good for let down but found it is best when worn in bra as it can fall off!

Super easy to use. The small ladybug is super discrete and I actually wore it out and no one noticed. The bigger hakka was a little harder for me to use/get used to. They are also a little hard to clean. Mine always have streaks even after washing and sterilizing.

If you buy a Haka be sure to get one with the with the suction foot, lid, and ladybug! The ladybug is perfect for collecting opposite side let down milk, and the Haka works well to take some of the pressure off, making it easier for baby to latch. As a bonus you can save all this up and you get a small milk stash (without having to pump/overstimulate your milk supply) which is perfect for cluster feeds or if you want to be able to have someone else give baby an occasional bottle, or to stash a few oz in the freezer. It seems like the Haka without the lid/foot would be a huge pain to set aside or store in the fridge so these features seem like must haves to make your life easier!

I used these with my first and am again with my second. I have an overwhelming let down sometimes and this catches it all. I am also able to build a significant milk stash using just the haakaa.

The pump didnt work for me as a manual pump but it has saved me during times of painful plugged ducts. The wearable collector is the best one I’ve tried.

I had heard such wonderful things about this product, but I found it very difficult to use. It was uncomfortable to put on and left my nipples sore. While it did collect some let down, my baby kicked it off and spilled the milk nearly every time I used it, and it felt like neither of us could get comfortable. In the end, it just wasn’t worth the headache. I just put a burp cloth on the other breast when nursing to collect dripping milk as the haaka wasn’t worth the trouble in my opinion. It seems to be made of quality material and is easy to clean, but it just wasn’t a product for me.

Ouch!!! This thing hurts! It either sucks to the point my nipple feels like it's ripping off or doesn't suck at all, there is legit no happy medium. I purchased when I had a clogged duct, but I wasn't able to use.
