Family
A good ending the the Batman/TMNT trilogy. One of the only thing that made this four stars instead of five for me is a person preference. Though I am a fan of both Batman and TMNT I am more of a Batman fan. I felt the book was slightly geared more towards the TMNTs.The book had great good art work. Similar to book two, book one was my favourite. Though this book has lots of action there is a lack of one on one fights. The book is very fast paced and a page turner but did feel a little rushed.I liked the family ties in the book. Though again call it a personal preference, the smiling Batman is just too Brave and the Bold style than the Dark Knight for me. A good ending that I think does both series justice but just a little rushed. There is also a cover gallery with a full page spread of each cover including a couple of variants, and a sketch book as well.

Crisis in a halfshell!
Crisis in a half shell! That’s exactly we have.A multiverse of madness and crossover delights.Add another universe to DC’s expanding universes and I just want more and more! But this seems to be the end for our Batman/Turtle tales!I don’t want to spoil the story, so I’ll keep game changing spoilers out and spoilers to a minimum. So, is this as good as the last two books?Well, not really. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great comic and a great story but the first Turtles/Batman tale was amazing and the second for that matter! So when you get two home runs is it possible to get a third? It just falls below the massively high standard the last two books left us with, that’s all. There’s a lot of action in this comic and it plays really well. The art is so-so but it works well and doesn’t distract from the story. It is a really genuinely funny comic. I rarely laugh out loud at comics but these Turtle/Batman comics have been really amusingIf you’re a new reader, please go back to volume 1 and start this wonderful trilogy at the beginning. The comic itself is a nice hardback, no dust cover.Pages are so-so. The paper feels cheap, like it’s been recycled. It’s not a glossy time of paper. But it stills not awful quality.I am really, really gutted this seems to have ended with a full stop! It’s been one of the best crossovers since I read He-Man/Thundercats!

Suitably high-stakes third installment
Unlike the second Batman/TMNT crossover book, which was mostly more of the same as the first book, this third installment raises the stakes significantly and uses some much more interesting ideas. The histories of the characters in publication are used to great effect and some big players we had yet to meet in the series have a large role to play. Overall, I think this was my favourite book in the series, though it still suffers a little from plot contrivances to sets events in motion. A great, fun read.
