Todco White Roasted Garlic Express Electric Roaster

Do not be discouraged by the negative reports of some about nonstick coating wearing off. Makes great roasted garlic in 27 minutes. Foolproof and much more convenient, plus much faster than using the oven roasting method. This is our 2nd one. The original, now 3 years old still working perfectly but we needed an extra one as the roasted garlic has been a big favorite when we have large family meals. Does the nonstick coating flake off? Yes, in time it does. Does that affect the end result of incredible, healthy, perfectly roasted garlic? Not at all! The entire garlic bulbs, with a little of the top sliced off, and then drizzled with olive oil are roasted in their own husks. When finished the roasted garlic is easily squeezed from the husks so the final result has never touched the non-stick coating and has not been contaminated be any flakes of coating that sometimes may detach from the roaster. This is a great product and I would not want to be without it. Do not be discouraged by the naysayers, if you love roasted garlic get one.

OMG! Cant say enough about this little thing. I'm not one to buy every kitchen gadget available because I have done that in the past and ended up with cabinets full of tools and machines I used once, or even never. I read reviews and watched videos on the garlic express and decided to take the plunge. So glad I did. It has exceeded my expectations. I've roasted garlic the traditional way and despite my best efforts, I can never seem to obtain consistent results. It either comes out perfect, or burnt, or too dry, or whatever. When I got my garlic express in the mail I already had some garlic in my kitchen. I went gang-busters right off the bat. I thought, lets see what this baby can do, so I placed one very large globe of elephant head garlic in it (following the enclosed instructions, of course). Elephant head garlic is about 3x the size of regular garlic. I was totally expecting it to come out partially and unevenly roasted because of the large size of the globe and/or that I would have to roast it for much longer than the set time. I couldn't believe it when I opened it up (after allowing it to cool) only to find that every single clove in that giant globe was roasted to perfection. How was that possible? Ever since then, I've been in love. I am also happy to announce that after 15 or so uses, I have yet to have results that are anything less than perfect. I now use roasted garlic in practically all my dishes and it has upped my cooking game dramatically. Oh and it stays out on my counter like a decoration because this little thing is absolutely adorable! How often do you find something that is both highly functional and aesthetically pleasing in the same small package? Final words...BUY IT!

This garlic roaster is amazing. We put 3 garlic bulbs in with olive oil and in 28 minutes we had delicious roasted garlic and we used the garlic infused olive oil as well. We spread the soft roasted garlic on fresh Italian bread then dipped it in the olive oil from the roasting pan. 100 times easier then the clay roaster for the oven. Just buy it, it’s AMAZING!!!

Perfect roasted garlic in 27 minutes vs 1 hour in the oven. This is the fifth time I have ordered this as a gift for other garlic lovers who are friends and family, and every one of them gives it a five star rating. I love it and use it in everyday cooking. Roasted garlic makes everything taste better from mashed potatoes to pastas and meats. Yum

I am so disappointed that this roaster's non-stick coating started peeling off within a few weeks of using it. I owned and used the heck out of a Todco roaster previous to this one. The older one worked great and lasted for years and years no issues with the non-stick coating. But like most things after many many years of service it stopped working. I was so pleased to see that Todco still made their roaster and I promptly ordered my new one. While the size of the roaster increased, unfortunately the quality of the product decreased. I am returning mine for a refund and after reading reviews of many others who have experienced the same issue. I will not be replacing it simply hoping it was a one off situation. I hope Todco redesigns their product to have a better/higher quality of coating on the inside. If they did that I would order it in a heartbeat.

The terra cotta ring was broke. When I tried to email via the email address in the pamphlet it said email was invalid. When I tried to log onto website it stated could not be found.

Jut used it for the first time. Instructions are easy and I made sure to use extra olive oil only because I read other reviews of the garlic sticking. Instructions say to wait 2-3 minutes after the tome goes off before removing, I waiting probably 10 min (I was busy making dinner) and the garlic came out perfect.

Love this roaring oven. Was gifted a black one almost 15 years ago.... used it all the time for roasting bell peppers and garlic. It finally died and this one is so much better and easier to clean!
