Q: If you hooked up 24 tuners does it have to be 12 on Swim one and 12 om Swim Two or can it be 15 on one and 9 on the other?

It’s 15 tuners on each swim. They are separated and don’t cross communicate ( recordings on a dvr on SWIM one won’t show up on a set top box on SWIM 2.

Q: Is this one newst than the swm32?

Yes it’s a Swm 30 but right now you are only allowed to connect 26 tuners to it per Directv and it cost about 45 dollars compared to 500 for the 32

Q: Does this work with a dual lmb 19” dish?

Only for the 101 satellite and it would require two lines for both polarities

Q: I forget, can you use a satellite splitter for cable for cable splitter for satellite?

This question was posted on a 39 tuner swim module. Just to be clear, this item is NOT considered a splitter. A green label Directv splitter can be used as a cable splitter, BUT a cable splitter will not work a a satellite splitter UNLESS it’s rated for 2200 MHz (2.2 GHz). Green label Directv splitters also have a power pass through port that is sometimes used to power up a SWM module or SWM LNB. Some cable splitters have powere pass through ports and others do not.
