This product is great for young children to have a tactile, visual resource for learning numbers, place value, and all of the math skills.

This product didn't blow me away or anything, but so far it seems to be what it claims. Build quality is fine, not stupendous but it doesn't seem like it will fall apart quickly. It's kind of midrange quality for cheap wooden toys made in China.There are plastic feet which are glued on. Although the design is fine (they fit over the end of the wood like a sleeve), the glue failed so I will have to reglue it, which will take some of my time.Everything functions as expected and none of the core components of the abacus have failed. The beads slide just fine and nothing is particularly wobbly or loose.If you're on the fence about buying this, I'd say just get it. At time of writing this, it costs about ten bucks. It's not heirloom quality but will probably last through multiple children.

Its a little cute compact manipulative. It worked well for a bit of a lazy boy that is struggling with addition. It's easy and fast for him to move the beads.If I wanted to use it to explain concepts, or to have three groups within 10, it's too small. There isnt space to show clear definitive breaks for explanation or more than two groups. However, it works perfectly well for a young child to quickly count and seperate parts of a whole.

I bought these to replace a larger size in my classroom. They are a perfect size to store & multiple students to use at one time.

This abacus works perfect for us. We are using it to teach our 1st grader math. It’s been excellent and very easy to use so far. Great product and perfect size.
